  1. Must be the Ibrox micro climate screm. Aberdeen fans will wreck Ibrox now. No seat safe. Stewart Milne should leave a blank cheque at the main door on his way home.
  2. Neither now, poor decision making on my part. Oh well, Scottish cup semi on the telly, Liverpool v City on the iPad, BSF on the lap top, beer on the table. Big breakfast still in the belly. Masters tonight! Hoover and ironing board are safe. Will need to give the gym a miss, that's 10 years in a row. Update: Hold that thought. The bliss lasted all of 20 minutes. She who must be obeyed wants a new mirror put up in the bathroom. I hate DIY! Anyone got any change for the swearbox? I'll need at least a fiver. See you all in two hours ..... minus a thumb.
  3. Watching the cup semi just now and no rain at Ibrox. Must be the Ashfield micro climate.
  4. I'm swaying towards Ashfield. Must be mad!
  5. As posting style is similar, I have wondered if it's FFS Racing Fans in one of his many guises.
  6. .... and hangover free! Off to do Sunday brekkie with the family the noo! Then the big decision, Ashfield or golf.
  7. Were you on the vodka when you posted this? Or just pompous.
  8. Sama as baba, young Dimitri. Oh, la, la!
  9. A great honour and testament to all those involved at Berwick speedway!
  10. Being No1 carries many responsibilities, and one of them is to be getting the points on the board for the team. Just look at Cook, 14 or 15 points guaranteed and only another 30 needed from your team mates. (Of course there's not many Craig Cooks around). If Wolbert doesn't do the business and get's replaced I wouldn't lose any sleep.
  11. Yeah, agree with your comments re Aaron 100%. The video just prompted the question in my mind and I was trying to think back to when I've seen him live or on TV last season and couldn't really recall whether he did or not. He is head and shoulders above anyone I've seen over many years in the PL, in fact the last rider I've seen dominate the way he does was probably Joe Owen. Like any rider you want to see them reach their full potential (unless it against the Tigers of course ), and this would include team riding skills if he he doesn't fully demonstrate them at present. Which, as I say I don't know if he does or not. Hope he gets into the GB World Cup squad and rattles up a good few points.
  12. Serious question for Monarchs fans on here. I saw Heat 5 from last night's meeting on FB with Cook in his pomp. It got me thinking though. I don't see him week in week out. For those who do, does he team ride when he hits the front early doors in a heat or does he just gets many bike lengths ahead of everyone?
  13. Maybe tonight's result at Armadale puts a more positive perspective on our results last week against the Monarchs.
  14. Apparently the fence belongs to Gordon. Not 100% sure. Thought I'd read that here?
  15. Two excellent derby matches this weekend. Credit to both team's promotions and riders for putting on 30 heats of exciting riding and never say die attitude. Especially when only expenses were paid. Special mention for the Tiger's promotion. Last year was a baptism of fire for all involved. Today there was a breath of fresh air around Ashfield again. Good show! I've always said give me entertainment, and a team of triers and I'm happy. So I'm one happy bunny tonight. The results this weekend are of secondary importance .... unless of course you're trolling on BSF not having made the effort to make a contribution to both promotions air fence costs! After Friday night I was happy with our lower average riders - Berge, Lykke and Thomsen. Tonight I'm absolutely buzzing! Three real triers, each with a never say die attitude. Outside line, inside line, each tried very way to pass an opponent. And didn't give up until the finish line. Prime example being the race of the day with Anders taking Steve Worrall on the line in heat 8. Dimitri looked impressive. Much more controlled than what I'd read on the internet after he signed. Really could be one for the future. Kasper played his part too, and like Friday night all 3 showed no respect, nor fear of opposing reputations. Hopefully they invest a bit of time on their gating skills in the coming weeks. Mind you if they do, we might not be entertained as we have this weekend. Rusty was our most exciting rider by far, taking Fricke and Sedgmen together on the 3rd and 4th bend of heat 12 being the highlight. He and the three youngsters providing the overtaking entertainment today. Great stuff! Rusty was the only one who could keep up with the impressive Craig Cook - having said that, Cook looked like he'd have another gear if anyone came close. Kevin Wolbert looked out sorts, mind you he did on Friday night too - Eurosport failing to deliver their usual entertainment! Theo was Theo, but like all of the Tigers (except Rusty) his gating is the area for improvement after this weekend. Mark Lemon was less impressive than Friday night, though I'm sure improved gating will help. Edinburgh were very impressive again, and look solid throughout, except Aaron Fox. He obviously has the track skills and I'm sure will come good with time. Worall was the surprise packet with 3 wins and a second. If Edinburgh riders keep up this weekends form they will have a strong reserve pairing mid and end season, with Deek no doubt posting a few 14s, 15s and 16s come the business end of the season from number 6 or 7. Masters looked good and worth the 12 month wait, Sedgmen had a good win and no doubt will come good. Back to Mr Cook, he's head and shoulders above anything I've seen in the Premier League for years. Great style, speed and skill - good to watch when Monarchs are racing against anyone other than your own team. So thanks to both sets of riders for dishing up two entertaining meetings this weekend, you are a credit to your sport. And thanks to the Glasgow promotion for putting together a team with potential and one that'll entertain! We'll let the Minions keep that name thanks. Because they're full of sperm! Assume the position boys!
  16. Thomsen - looked a different rider. Must have traded in his Dyson for a Jawa. Lykke - send him to Steve Lawson for a week's worth of starting practice. Berge - I'm hoping he was just told tonight to go out, do some laps at the back, and leave in the van he came in and not one with a flashing blue light.
