  1. I agree. A lot of us wondered if he was a fluke last year, especially with his worrying scores for Wolves before the GPs started. But he's just unstoppable. I feel he's got a bit of a Crump in him and will win a fair few championships
  2. My personal view on this is that at first he was mimicking Craig Cook for doing loads of digging on his gate. But in my opinion I feel Tai got too far up his own backside with the whole spade issue and using the dirt from Harris' gate. And when he threw the spade after being told off reeked of arrogance. Fair enough, he's World Champion, but with the attitude that I've seen from his tonight and from last week's meeting at Coventry (vs Wolves) where he just walked past everyone into his van, I can't help but feel he's taken a bit of a Ward attitude lately. That said though, he's a fantastic rider and I still like him a lot.
  3. Completely agree. Nice to see a fan with something inside their head.
  4. It's no surprise though is it? Every time your team is riding away there is the same story. You would've thought after years out that some fans would be grateful to have a team but they now feel that they're superior to everyone else. I know I'm grateful for my two Coventry teams knowing we have a cloud over our heads. Mick Horton had every right after some of the things you lot came out with tonight.
  5. Did have a chuckle to myself at the Cradley fans. Ever so gracious in defeat they were. Fantastic night for my first NL trip. Well done Storm and special mention to Ollie. For the record with Mick. He did not swear at you lot. He came out and stood in front of you all with his arms open wide saying 'come at me'. Rightly so as the Storm seem to have been wrongly accused of everything that didn't go the Heathens way. Poor things.
  6. Well, most places used to only accept NUS cards. I went to an independent music college which didn't even say the year start-end date on it, and most places still accepted it.
  7. Oh dear this won't help Horton's case at all, out of his control of course.
  8. It's good, but he shouldn't be there. He failed to get through the first round and fluked the wild card for the final challenge. Don't agree with it personally but nothing will change it now
  9. And i bet admission prices will still remain at £17...
  10. It's very underwhelming to have NL riders in the Elite League. Could see a lot of lapped exclusions in this case... doesn't quite make sense, surely it'll just ruin that NL guys' confidence when they struggle? Surely PL would've made more sense but alas, that it what it is.
  11. I don't understand why Harris or anyone should've been given a wild card for this meeting? He didn't qualify so effectively he's cheating the system yet again. What is it with the FIM and Chris Harris?! I'm absolutely fed up with the amount of free passes he gets. Watch him fluke this meeting and quality. More of a mockery of the sport...just how many nails does the coffin need?
  12. Harsh decision but it's happened now and makes the Storm a bit stronger. I like Brendan and feel he'll be an Elite rider one day so I hope he gets fixed up soon.
  13. 54.7 Previously 55.0 by Kenneth Bjerre and Jason Crump.
  14. It wasn't the best, the track was horrific during the end and it was awful watching Nicki Pedersen have to shut off due to the track. However, as always I enjoyed it - I don't go to Cardiff every year so it's a better experience for me. I took a complete newbie to the event and he enjoyed it and to me that's all that matters. Coventry Bees have a new fan anyway.
  15. Yeah it's never been full though, not once so there's nothing new.
  16. I had a similar problem when I took my best friend to see Justin Bieber in February. I spend £150 on tickets and they didn't turn up and all I got over the phone was "Oh well, we'll just get you some duplicates for when you arrive at the venue". I then asked "But what if they were delivered elsewhere and someone uses my seats?" and they shoddily responded with "We can't do anything about that I'm afraid". I wrote a MASSIVE letter of complaint and they gave me a £20 gift card as compensation. Thankfully nobody took our seats but their service is awful. I hope everyone gets everything sorted. I very nearly booked with them too. Adam.
  17. Ah okay.. where abouts would I go to get the tickets when we're there? Just pay at the turnstiles or?
  18. Can you pay on the day then? Says on seetickets to pay on the door? Surely they'd all sell out so there's no guarantee?
  19. Trying to book tickets online at last minute and it says on the GP website to Pay on the door? surely they'll all sell out if you ''pay on the door'' though, so no guarantee of it? Can someone shed a light on this please.
