  1. Seems a bit of a downer to race tonight's meeting with the health of Rory still unknown. I hope there is a tribute made for him and I really hope it's not as bad as feared. He may have his differences with Coventry but he is a top guy and has done a lot for British speedway. I hope all riders have a safe meeting tonight and enjoy the match for Rory.
  2. Absolutely loved the first thing I saw when I arrived last night to be a man holding a "VOTE UKIP" sign. Absolutely fabulous. 😳.
  3. Fantastic result, well done lads. Wouldve been a draw had Lawson not had an episode in heat 14. 4 away wins, that's incredible. Fantastic result, well done lads. Wouldve been a draw had Lawson not had an episode in heat 14. 4 away wins, that's incredible.
  4. I haven't criticised him yet but he needs to get his act together before it becomes acceptable to call for a replacement. At the moment, it's borderline. Problem is there's no one else out there anyway. But I shouldn't criticise because I've never ridden a bike before... 😂
  5. Just caught up, what an embarrassment of a thread this is. For the meeting, I'm calling a Bees win by 4-6. Is Kennett now a heat leader? If so that helps us especially with us now having King at 4. Darryl will do the job.
  6. Think Wolves will end the Bees away record here. Especially with their boost win at Lakeside and PK's last home match at 4. The Bees will get a point I think but Wolves have always been pretty solid when both sides have met at Monmore. 47-43.
  7. Are you actually being serious? One loss and you write the whole season off. This was always going to go one way or the other. I'm not defending Hans as that was shocking but are you forgetting Saturdays result already? For God sake one loss and you've written off a whole season. Pathetic.
  8. What a lovely sight... Coventry #1 in the league
  9. When are the Bees management going to employ SCB as manager ffs?
  10. They really scared me for a second there. Thought the score would've been bigger than it was but at least we won. I had Karlsson down for 4 points before the meeting. How wrong was I? Wow. I can imagine that won't be the only time he scores like that from that position. Whilst he is a declining rider, he is still a heat leader and will make a mockery of the no.4 position. Sarjeant really has come on leaps and bounds. He's just about as good as Garrity at Brandon now. Kylmakorpi was a bit forgettable but at least he scored more than the pole did. Andersen was poor.
  11. Should be coming to this for one of my only meetings this year due to work. So I hope the weather holds off and the Bees kick off with a win. Which I think they will easily.
  12. 1. Poole 2. Kings Lynn 3. Belle Vue 4. Coventry 5. Lakeside 6. Leicester 7. Swindon 8. Wolves It's gonna be a close one!
  13. Does anybody have this? Getting rather bored lately and fancied playing this. I used to get it to work on this Windows XP, but have lost the file since then. If anybody has it and could send me a pm I'd be much appreciated. Also, whilst on the topic - whatever happened to the 5-1 game? Lack of Speedway games is killing me!
  14. I agree. A lot of us wondered if he was a fluke last year, especially with his worrying scores for Wolves before the GPs started. But he's just unstoppable. I feel he's got a bit of a Crump in him and will win a fair few championships
  15. My personal view on this is that at first he was mimicking Craig Cook for doing loads of digging on his gate. But in my opinion I feel Tai got too far up his own backside with the whole spade issue and using the dirt from Harris' gate. And when he threw the spade after being told off reeked of arrogance. Fair enough, he's World Champion, but with the attitude that I've seen from his tonight and from last week's meeting at Coventry (vs Wolves) where he just walked past everyone into his van, I can't help but feel he's taken a bit of a Ward attitude lately. That said though, he's a fantastic rider and I still like him a lot.
  16. Completely agree. Nice to see a fan with something inside their head.
  17. It's no surprise though is it? Every time your team is riding away there is the same story. You would've thought after years out that some fans would be grateful to have a team but they now feel that they're superior to everyone else. I know I'm grateful for my two Coventry teams knowing we have a cloud over our heads. Mick Horton had every right after some of the things you lot came out with tonight.
  18. Did have a chuckle to myself at the Cradley fans. Ever so gracious in defeat they were. Fantastic night for my first NL trip. Well done Storm and special mention to Ollie. For the record with Mick. He did not swear at you lot. He came out and stood in front of you all with his arms open wide saying 'come at me'. Rightly so as the Storm seem to have been wrongly accused of everything that didn't go the Heathens way. Poor things.
  19. Well, most places used to only accept NUS cards. I went to an independent music college which didn't even say the year start-end date on it, and most places still accepted it.
  20. Oh dear this won't help Horton's case at all, out of his control of course.
  21. It's good, but he shouldn't be there. He failed to get through the first round and fluked the wild card for the final challenge. Don't agree with it personally but nothing will change it now
