  1. There must be a catch somwhere as normally Belle Vue website provides lineups in correct riding order. Somehow Bjarne's average seems to be above Newman. Strange.
  2. Am I correct that Bees actually have 3 EDR riders (Roynon, Bates, Sarjeant) and today picked Roynon (CMA 3.00) and Sarjeant (CMA 3.45) which means Woryna (CMA 4.00) is at 4? Squad system?
  3. Fast Freddie is getting close to his best. Good to see as I always rated him and liked his style. Last 2-3 seasons for some reason his form decreased a lot but now Freddie is back which was clearly visible in Warsaw. Not sure what was the turning point (World Cup win with team Sweden?) but he is 31 now and it is probably now or never in terms of international career. Fingers crossed for his come back to GP in 2017.
  4. I see that BSPA added meeting preview for today but averages are still not updated and Issue10 not available.
  5. Latest EL Issue9 is dated May 4th (probably not including evening match from the very same day where Nicholls scored 3 from 5 and Cook 2+1 from 3). Nicholls on 6.96 before that match and Cook on 6.92. All very tight. Would be nice to see updated averages!
  6. From Belle Vue website: It’s unfortunate that we’ll be without Max for this meeting but the Rider Replacement facility will allow us to use the likes of Scott, Richie, Steve and Joe to cover his four programmed rides. SCB said it is Cook, Ritchie and Steve + Jacobs to take R/R rides. Who is wrong?
  7. Ulamek R/R or guest? No info on Leicester and/or Poole websites. And it should be confirmed by now as he got injured last Friday.
  8. I've just watched video on BSPA site. What a brilliant race track it seems to be. Pretty similar to some best tracks on the continent (kinda reminds me Bydgoszcz) Racing will be superb and I expect very good progress in Europe for riders like Cook after they gain more experience racing on it on a daily basis.
  9. Poole much stonger without Bjarne with extra rides for Buczkowski, Holder and Kurtz twice (correct me if I'm wrong please). R/R can easy deliver 8-9 and I doubt that Bjarne is able to do that even from not that difficult number 2 position. Wright for Newman is a loss of course but Auty for Ellis at #3 can be like for like or close to that.
  10. Thanks SCB. And is it true that Ellis will actually be a heat leader?
  11. What is Pirates full lineup for tomorrow? I'm confused a bit as someone said Ellis @#3 now and Kurtz dropped to reserve. Latests Green Sheets on BSPA still have Ellis on 3.00 ave: http://speedwaygb.co/files/downloads/el16_issue_7.pdf
  12. Why on earth this British speedway still has to be so complicated? EDR, FTR, R/R, guests, PL average, converted average etc. One really good idea to promote young Brits has already been turned into a farce with 40 years old Robson guesting on Wednesday. Why can't they go Polish way and make it simple? 2 under 21 Brits/team. Then they can move up from reserve to main body if they are good enough. Someon may say that there is no 16 U21 Brits good enough to ride in 8 EL clubs. Believe me, in Poland some of them are also bad but make progress and later they become next Zmarzlik, Pawlicki, Dudek to only name 3 top young riders. System simply works and you tried to follow but already cocked it up.
  13. R/R for Summers - everyone but Ulamek can get an extra ride R/R for Schlein - everyone can take one Am I correct here?
  14. Why was Steve Worrall still at reserve? With higher average than Ritchie?
  15. Any link to confirmed info then? Thanks in advance Stevebrum. As a British speedway fan from Poland I can only see positives: -no more mess in speedway schedule (Tuesday Sweden, Wednesday+ Thursday UK, Friday and Saturday world and euro qualifiers/finals/GP's, Sunday Poland). Other leagues like Russia, Germany and Denmark are small enough to fit them somwhere in without much impact on top 3 leagues. -proper Elite League table during regular season (only affected by rain-offs which happen in every league) -much easier planning for both riders and fans (just book few Wednesdays/Thursdays off in advance and you are sure to catch EL speedway action) -possibly better TV coverage on Sky with a chance to have something like weekly EL summary with highlights, interviews analysis (we have one in Poland every Sunday evening and is pretty popular) Will it attract more top boys? Surely some of them yes as schedule + time for travel will not be that busy anymore. Will it bring more money to British speedway? Possibly. All the mess you guys have over there right now just simply has to be stopped. I would add some kind of squad system (with shared no. 1 positions for example) and remove all guests and R/R rules to let fans finally feel that the team they are watching is the same all season long.
  16. Hi guys is it speculation only or something confirmed by BSPA/clubs? I mean whole idea of 2 fixed race nights in 2017. That would be great step forward.
  17. Was hoping for some positive changes like semi-squad system (with shared heat leaders role to bring some top boys back) but it will be bigger mess with FTR now moving to main body and main body riders dropping to reserve positions.
  18. Cookie what a star! I believe he will be in Ekstraliga next year. Guy is loving grippy tracks and knows how to gate. Rzeszow? Wroclaw (together with Tai)?
  19. Even if Kacper is not fit, R/R will cover his absence. Extra rides for Watt, Newman, Starke = 7-8 points.
  20. Any idea when result will be officially confirmed? Was there any post match protest?
