  1. 2 race nights (Monday + Wednesday or Thursday), max 18 meetings/team in regular season (in 10 teams EL league) + playoffs. That is amount of meetings top riders will be happy to book in UK I believe (idea of watching every away team twice/season is simply stupid for me). 14 meetings in regular season in Poland and you know what? Every single one is a big thing for supporters. Make it more exclusive, bring top boys back and people will come to watch it. Keep one British youngster in the team (to build bright future) and you will see progress. Nothing better than learn from the best (Poland and Sweden in this case). Squad system with 2 number ones as an option for GP boys also good thing. R/R, guest system - must go.
  2. Problem can simply be solved in the future. New FIM regulation that any rider can only ride for 1 team that was champion in 4 of biggest leagues year before. Let's say Kings Lynn, Zielona Gora, Vetlanda and Holsted win leagues in 2014. Then Hampel have to chose Zielona Gora or Vetlanda for 2015. It will only be a problem for 1 or 2 riders every year and they are good enough to find new teams anyway.
  3. Woffinden >= Ward King >= Woodward Harris =< Batchelor Stead =< Doyle Pretty well balanced teams. Will be close for sure. Expecting great battle!
  4. OK fair enough, all clear now. Thought that Aspgren's ave was below Gapinski.
  5. He did in heat 5 (gate 3) and took 6 rides on the night.
  6. Last week Miedzinski took one of Aspgren's rides which surprised me a lot. Have R/R rules changed? Can team manager pick ANY rider with higher avarage? I'm pretty sure Miedzinski was not the one directly above Aspgren.
  7. This Danish league is sick. 6 heats in 75 minutes. No tempo at all. Booring
  8. Thanks Ghost. Still better than Mellgren I guess. Looking forward to watch it. Zorro the key for Smederna (13 pts last year, 9 in 2012). Good, close meeting in prospect.
  9. Great previews. Like always! Much appreciated Ghost. By the way, any dates for last week's rained off meetings?
  10. Can they use R/R? Or not possible as he is not injured? Also the same applies to Vastervik. R/R for Nermark (he is at Birmingham tonight, I believe)? Edit: Found new Piraterna lineup on SVEMO http://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionLiveResult.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Columns=CompetitionInfo,Branch,Name,Arena,Organizer,FromDateShort&Datefilter=Today&pagesize=10&CompetitionId=3333 Seems that Rosen replacing Darcy and looks like Nermark is either riding or R/R allowed.
  11. Watt injured in England yesterday. Who's gonna step in? By the way it looks like only rain free meeting will be Rospi vs. Vetlanda.
  12. Lots of live speedway on TV's/Internet this season. Good stuff. By the way, is there any site with livescoring/live updates for Danish league? And where can I find full team lineups (with grades A,B,C,D etc. and avarages)?
  13. Rybnik - Bydgoszcz starting time is 14:00 (CET) and seems that it will not be covered live by TVP Sport due to clash with Katowice tennis final. Hopefully next round will be live and at 14:00 as well to avoid clashes with Ekstraliga on nsport.
  14. What? Happy days with daily live coverage of EL. Why do you read my post as any kind of attack on BSPA?
  15. New era in terms of Elite League live coverage! 1 meeting per day in live streaming at Bet365.com (one meeting will be chosen when there are multiple fixtures). Enjoy!
  16. Great news to have GP in Warsaw! Finally. And it is going to be last GP for Tomasz Gollob which will make it great evening for sure. Good job BSI this time.
  17. Double checked the dates. Woffinden/Cook in Torun and Eskilstuna and Woffinden/Harris in Landshut would do no harm to Elite League as mentioned riders have racing-free evenings anyway. As all 3 pair meetings will be live on British Eurosport, potentially thousands of local fans lost a chance to watch British stars in action. That's the way BSPA is saving British speedway...
  18. live on Polsat Sport http://www.polsatsport.pl/program-tv/
  19. Yeah, I suggest to inform svt.se that Brits were not allowed by BSI to participate. Isolation must be better for British riders. Thanks to that they will make progress in World Cup.
  20. True. FIM/BSI have to face the fact they are not going to control everyone and everything anymore. BSI started this bloody war but did they win anything?
  21. No idea why BSI has a problem with SEC. Can anyone explain it to me? But when you read comments on Sportowe Fakty, 99% of Polish fans support One Sport in this 'war'. I'm sure if BSI is going to ban GP riders participation in SEC, reaction will be quick. No Ekstraliga riders in GP. Is it really worth it? I believe all BSI is fighting for are some sponsorship deals. Eurosport coverage can't be the case here as BSI was always selling rights to local TV's rather than to open channels.
