Be great if ''Herbie'' wins. I find Andreas a bit all or nothing and as a Coventry supporter I remember gettiing pretty angry at times with his ''no show'' until I realised he had health problems but I'm a sucker for seeing the ''oldies'' do well as they will soon disappear from the scene. Great to see Antonio Lindback back in form -- I hope he has put his problems/demons behind him.

Why are you disappointed that Andreas won? I am just curious -- personally I love to see the ''oldies'' win as much as I do the ''youngsters''

I think I know the campsite you mean -- situated near the park ares? There is a waiting list and I was informed over a year ago to ring in January to see if there had been a cancellation--alas there had not! Unless my face didn't fit!

I see SCB has replied to that one -- just to let you know that the time queuing for tickets last year took 25 minutes approx. -- and then we got down to the serious stuff --- BEVERAGES!

In my experience you you have a great view wherever you sit and it's never a sell out -- obviously as Philip says the most popular seats will be sold but I bought on the day last year -- there were 5 of us and we had plenty of choice. Enjoy!

Many thanks for the replies -- I have been to Rye before but have always sat on the ''home'' straight and not really observed the view opposite! My group will probably bring our chairs and do a 'reccy' before we park up!

Is the 'back straight' open to spectators? i.e if we walk around to that area with chairs we will be able to ''park'' ourselves?

I have been going to Cardiff for 4 years now and I would have thought thet yesterday's attendance was the least I have seen -- but then again I never counted!

Viewing Leigh Adams on sky -- does anybody else agree he looks a tad underweight? I hope his health is good.

The Manor Parc Hotel in Cardiff still has vacancies at a fairly reasonable price. I have just made a booking and will be getting a taxi back there with my mate who also has a room there. If anyone else is staying there and wishes to share a taxi back following a drink or 2 in the centre feel free to pm me!

I sincerely hope that Bomber makes the most of his big chance to ''prove it'' -- and if he doesn't cut the mustard then he may well have to take the ''crap'' that Scott (and some will say deservedly so) had to accept ! Let's hope he will be dignified in that acceptance (if necessary.)

For anyone interested in speedway of years gone by or were fans of Kenny Carter (or not as the case may be) --- I am neither -- just a lover of speedway past,present and future --- this book makes excellent and interesting reading.
