Whether it is clinical or reactive depression I hope he finds his way out of it. He is not alone in his suffering but he probably won't appreciate that at the moment. Good luck Lewis and it's good that you have gone public about a subject that even today remains taboo. You may well have helped the next person suffering from similar symptoms .x

Coventry V Cradley Heath (national League) 21/4/14

Sour grapes from the Cradley fans but I doubt the storm lads noticed as they celebrated a fair and well fought victory. -

False dawn reappears on the forum???? Does this mean that there will be a reunion of the old fogeys/timers of the ''origional'' forum at Cardiff? -
Darcy Showing What A Pro He Is Again

2 cells would be required for Darcy's head! -
First and foremost I hope there's a stadium to visit -- especially as I hope to be able to attend more often next season Secondly I hope that the riders selected for the team will be motivated and give their all whilst offering support to younger riders and to team ride.I also hope that whoever is captain has a certain level of maturity and doesn't allow personality clashes to get in the way of racing for their team. A wave or acknowledgement to the loyal paying fans wouldn't go amiss either Does that cap fit Bomber? If so I want him back in the team --- unfortunately I have my doubts.

Will he be at reserve or your number 1?

He won't be at Cov. next season?

No -- if you had been referring to Bomber then I would have agreed. -
Cardiff Date For 2013
fliss44 replied to lynnboy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
If buying tickets online the link for discounted hotel rooms works very well --- The Ibis is £65 per room per night and there is a varied selection of hotel rooms.(I just have to cancel my 1st one now!) -
Cardiff Date For 2013
fliss44 replied to lynnboy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I have tried every link and website going for the last 3 days and resorted to looking further afield. I managed to get a double room for £80 with free parking ,breakfast, great reviews and free cancellation up to 2 days before. The downside being that a taxi back will be required as we like a few drinkies and it's about 11 miles away.but having missed Cardiff this year I don't want to risk the same again. I would post the link for the hotel but I got the last room. Roll on 2013 -

IF a hotel can be found (I missed a ''re booking'' this year as I couldn't make it ) I dread to think what the prices will be! Anyone out there wanting to release a double/twin room? May as well get in early!! -
It's a thank you from me too!!

Italian Gp Terenzano
fliss44 replied to nbaynes's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Be great if ''Herbie'' wins. I find Andreas a bit all or nothing and as a Coventry supporter I remember gettiing pretty angry at times with his ''no show'' until I realised he had health problems but I'm a sucker for seeing the ''oldies'' do well as they will soon disappear from the scene. Great to see Antonio Lindback back in form -- I hope he has put his problems/demons behind him. -

Why are you disappointed that Andreas won? I am just curious -- personally I love to see the ''oldies'' win as much as I do the ''youngsters'' -
Camping At Cardiff
fliss44 replied to brylcream boy's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I think I know the campsite you mean -- situated near the park ares? There is a waiting list and I was informed over a year ago to ring in January to see if there had been a cancellation--alas there had not! Unless my face didn't fit! -

Tickets On The Day For Cardiff
fliss44 replied to james1234's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I see SCB has replied to that one -- just to let you know that the time queuing for tickets last year took 25 minutes approx. -- and then we got down to the serious stuff --- BEVERAGES! -
Tickets On The Day For Cardiff
fliss44 replied to james1234's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
In my experience you you have a great view wherever you sit and it's never a sell out -- obviously as Philip says the most popular seats will be sold but I bought on the day last year -- there were 5 of us and we had plenty of choice. Enjoy!
