Id like specifics please as so far the only specific threat that has been mentioned is the one on the forum about the breeze block. Of course I don't. There is a law against that! But you can't argue against the fact that in speedway it is very easy for the spectators to get very close to the riders, and very easy to assault them too. About the breeze block, I have chosen to believe it was a misplaced joke and not a serious threat. And therefore I also believe there have been other threats, in fact on a Danish forum one is talking about knives and so on. The threat should have been on his family too, which would have frightened me as well if I was exposed for one.

Sounds like : If the "cheats" is good for England then it is no "cheat" and if it is not good for England it is "big cheat" If this statement had come out a few days later, the whole thing might even not have escalated the way it did. Being a kind of politician, Midlo is entitled to have his opinion, but he also has to be aware of when to say what, as some supporters might not be as wise as others and will react in a negative way, seen from the sports point of view.

Maybe you knows more than all the rest of us ? IMO he might have received threats privately in his phone, mail etc. Actually I don't think Hans is taking much notice of the threats on the forum.

So how much do you actually know about what kind of threats Hans might have received ? Do you see his personal post ? Do you overhear his phonecalls ? Or are you just judging on what is written here on the forum ?

I think that you Brits might have to look in your own back-yard of sportsmanship, particulary in this meeting, this upset etc. And I mean the SWC 2004. Where have all the British gentlemanlike behaviour vanished ? threatening riders from abroad etc. Pure Hooliganism IMO. Talking about fairness, yahh right. Fairness in the eyes of some brits is winning by all means. Luckily there has been a majority og decent speedway-supporters, who have been able to look on the whole SWC as a success. To "slaughter" or "witch-hunt" a rider has nothing to do with fairness. I don't think he has brought the sport in to more disrepute than all these British saints on this forum (or shall we say the few opinion-making to the rest). To threat a rider on his person is almost the lowest I can ever imagine. This post is not only done because I'm Danish, but because I feel the hooliganism is about to show its ugly face here as well. Pheww, now I might be able to have a good night of sleep.

Apart from the Kenneth Bjerre (who webmaster stole my SWC spreadsheet!!) who fell off on his own vs Rico, now hads that been allowed to carry on, Rico would have got 3 not 1 and GB would win. Go back and work out all the bad luck things and suddenly, Team GB win by 1 point. A team ALWAYS needs luck to win. Come on. It was only a few inches in a bend. The throttle has not to be shot that much down to decrease the speed. But I still think NP might have been focussing a bit to nuch on the passing.

Have a look on the performance of the Danes through the whole match. When we gated well, we could not hold the speed and ended third or last. So why should heat 25 be a difference ?

I Think Denmarks team is quite young as well.

BP, HA, NP is usually riding well on the Poole track. KB and PUK do have the capability to do so, so I think it is going to be a quite even and tough match tonight. My predictions : Denmark Sweden England Poland. COME ON DK, SHOW THEM ALL
