It's not as easy as that to be honest. Doing the texting sounds no bother but in reality, your time at the meeting is spent with your head in your mobile texting. There is very little chance to socialise, very little time to have loo breaks, have something to eat, can be very stressful and to top it all off, you still spend exactly the same amount of money to get in as everyone else (texting or updating is not a paid position, there is no free entry or incentives apart from maybe making yourself feel good for helping others) It is not something to go into on a whim which is why when anyone texts, we are always so grateful and why we also respect when people feel they are unable to do so. Hmm, not exactly selling it here am I, especially when I am looking for a texter!

I've tried everyone I know for texting plus loads of requests here and nothing. Mind You, I am having a similar problem with updaters so even if I did find a texter, there's no-one to update! Blooming nightmare right now.
