Heart says Jason-It will give the Exeter fans something else to moan about after Hilly refused to sign him on a 2 point average years ago--I just have this sneaking gut feeling that the pressure will get to either him or his mechanics and can see one stupid overlooked thing ending in Pedersen winning it-Pedersens got nothing to gain really-He seems chuffed to be up there at all and Crumpy has all to lose-If hes gonna do it he really needs to do it all in 13 days time-Massive pressure.

Someone on the Exeter forum mentioned a rider called Danny Kennedy-I had never heard of him and he isnt listed as a first team member of any Exeter teams-All I have managed to find out is that he passed away in 1993 aged 35,was australian and started riding speedway aged 16 in 1974. Im intrigued now-so any info would be appreciated especially regarding any link to Exeter. Thanks John

Now Im going to try and be a bit technical and thoughtful for once-so you may have to bare with me... The Aussie Gp last year was run at a huge loss to the promoter-he had signed a contract and paid so much to BSI to run the meeting assuming he would get his money back-which he didnt-hence no Aus or NZ Gp this year. I think Im right so far :? What happens at Cardiff?Do BSI run it or do they assign the rights to the BSPA??? So what happened tonight?, in basic terms, would BSI have said ok guys you have the meeting and pay us loads and we will turn up Saturday and if you make a profit thats fine-they then turn up and say oh dear you have messed up big time or is it down to BSI???? So in basic terms is it BSI fault or was it sub contracted and someone else messed up? Off for a lie down now

Are there any rules for Gp riders with their clubs -ie will be missing on certain weekends due to GP and clubs have first call on any other dates? Could Mr Postlewaite have had a rush of blood before thinking what he was saying about restaging next weekend????

This is almost like April fools day!!!!--Whats Ole been doing all week??? Heads should roll for this--absolute farce. :? Well I sent a rather polite one pointing out that I was new(ish) to pcs and after Andy Smith riding in the conference would he now be eligible to replace Colesy and what average would he be on.. And that was weeks ago.....................

Have to agree Dekker on the wow factor--there just didnt seem quite the same buzz that there has been the last couple of years--good but not quite as it was last year...

Nearly forgot---those of you in the fantasy gp league better submit Saturdays choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!--almost caught us out!

A sort of handy reminder of things we may all forget in the run up to the big day--If you think its stupid just put it up anyway as someone will have forgotten.... From my point of view the fact we will be there has somehow overtaken the fact that essential items are still required in the home on this special day so Ill start it off... 1. A 4 hour video tape so the wife/hubby/partner/kids left at home can actually record the meeting live so you can try and catch a glimpse of yourself or the forum banners--now be honest has that helped anyone who may have forgotten it--nothing worse than seeing the big screen at Cardiff and thinking B**ger forgot to get a video!!!!!! 2. A rather large note left in every place possible ie fridge ,back of toilet door(thats always a good reminder place) saying "TAPE SPEEDWAY 6PM" 3.a note on the telly saying "you cant watch sky on any other channel while the speedway is on" 4.Box of chocs so they dont feel totally neglected whilst watching terestrial tv. 5.LOTTERY--DONT FORGET TO DO IT TOMORROW OR FRIDAY IF ATTENDING.........You may just forget and no matter how sweet it will be for your favourite rider winning just imagine if you missed your millions because of it...(that bleedin Nicholls etc cost me £15 million type of thing) Well thats my lot for now --any more tips??????

Small world--When I was old enough to go back to speedway on my own after losing my dad really young it was the Exeter BL season when Exeter took someones licence after they had closed--Im sure it was Leicesters and we had to take the Thursday night race night that went along with the licence--is that right?? I seem to remember that there was a big fuss at the time cos the Grahame brothers refused to sign even though they were part of the deal. I may be wrong and would be interested to know--and it is a small world when the likelyhood is that over the next few years the county ground will be replaced by a similiar set up of starter homes etc if the rugby club relocate after the speedway leaves.......sad days :-(

Sooo... Whos made a banner this year and is it worth looking out for??? Only had one to look out for last year--some Welsh bloke on bend 3 tier 1--so proud he was ---we spotted it!!!!-and seen on Sky as well!!--whats on it this year mate and has anyone done a speedway-forum one????

I wanna know where everyones meeting before the meeting if anyone is!!! Spent an hour sat on the pavement outside a local hostelry opposite the stadium just soaking up the atmosphere last year-- Some very dodgy people going passed as well so I guess I have seem some of you lot before
