Only slightly better than when the club signed Lewis Bridger - Bridger came out of retirement to ride least KK is still actively riding but the centre grey or green will see more of him than the chequered flag I feel
If drops to reserve maybe 10 home or away moves back into the top 5 then what ? A poor run back to reserves he is what he is sadly tried and tested - why would anyone want to repeat failure? In the sense of not making the play offs - have the same team then wonder why the team fail - Jorgensen had his chance
I’ve not been for a few seasons reason we stopped was the track was over watered and rough loads of fallers the track would come good after 8-9 heats but we paid for 15 heats .
On the other hand once the team is announced the club will have little to say until the fixture list is released- it’s a difficult one name the 6 riders in one hit and interest slides over the winter or drag it releasing names every few weeks and keep people taking about the sport either way it’s a long time to the opening meeting .
As much as any team announcements admission prices will be crucial I see Sheffield is going to be £22 plus £3 for program-price things too high it drive more fans away - Gas Electric and Food will come way before a night at. the speedway in 2023
I get what you’re saying but does make me wonder rather in paying wages to foreign riders on the downhill slope wouldn’t be better to invest that money in British talent?
Of course British speedway can’t afford top European riders 6k a meeting I’ve heard Dudek wanted and Lambert paid 5k a meeting by Belle Vue at the end of the season play offs
All this talk of Iversen Bjeer Kaspzak at KL is this were British speedway is at ? Older riders on the downhill side to retirement having final pay day out of British speedway- there was a time clubs would bring in young talent from Europe and they’d want to come here .
At the time the club signed him I never thought he’d come close to a 7.71 average for Lynn as when he visited with other clubs he was always poor to say the least with visiting teams - good luck at Leicester let’s hope the move doesn’t bite us in the bum
From what I’ve seen of KK in the past he can be spectacularly brilliant on his day but on the flip side if his heads not at the races he pulls up in races and is spectacularly frustrating- not sure who has linked him with Lynn how this rumour or not rumour started - I’d say new owners are definitely happening at Lynn because I personally couldn’t see Buster going anywhere near him
Bit on par with the Lewis Bridger signing probably slightly better signing than Bridger as not coming out of retirement but I’d say chances of seeing the 2023 season out remote .
