More chance on finding an NHS dentist than getting the British Speedway fixtures before March 2026

Should have done all the above when the sport had the Sky TV money instead it was squandered only the promoters to blame .

Well that might well be the case but the Agm in January roughly 2 months to the start of the season a so called professional sport and we don’t even no if it’s one big league one two leagues again with potential 5 teams in the PL with no tv deal either what positive spin can you put on this ?? If I was a potential sponsor I’d think shambles and walk away

Worrying times indeed -how and why would any potential sponsor want to get involved with British speedway? it’s nothing short of a shambles

Looking through theses post is really depressing to see the state of British Speedway especially the PL with only 3 confirmed starters maybe the PL should not run in 2026 and give more time to sort things out for 2027 - championship clubs seem more settled at least that’s something if going one big league cause them problems it’s not worth it let them run as they are this coming season .

Can’t fault the efforts of anyone trying to get speedway back at the Showground but it’s turned out two years wasted if the end result was always going to be a new home - it’s very sad situation speedway could have continued the last two seasons and had there been more enthusiasm from Chapman who knows what could have happened . Hopefully a new site can be found but not sure where the money is coming from to fund it on what is a 1000 fans

That’s it in nutshell too many meaningless meetings top4 was more or less set in stone from March then it was who’s best of the bottom 3 - half the meetings other than pride there was nothing on them

Put the semis on Saturday night at Belle Vue and Sunday afternoon at Ipswich then see how big the crowds would be but on a Monday and a Thursday both terrible nights to run a premium event - as for admission price last night maybe Belle Vue thought stick the price up as won’t be able to in the final as they doubt they will be in the final

A conversation I had on Facebook with someone regarding Northampton and speedway being introduced to the track they seemed to think the track would be to narrow once a air fence was put up - the obvious answer would be I thought bring in the white line a bit - there is definitely a catchment area of fans with Pboro not so far away and Coventry as well .

If Leszno have paid for all Ben treatment on his wrist I can understand why they wouldn’t want him to race in the Uk and the difference in pay between Poland and England we can’t really blame Ben he’s obviously going to ride where he can maximise his earns we’d all do that in what ever job we do - these riders don’t need to race here in the Uk it’s handy for early and late season when Polish seasons hasn’t started or at the end of season has finished. England is pocket money in comparison to Poland but we think we are equal paying field we are not we are at the bottom . only two ways to go pay the same as Poland that’s not going to happen the money or support isn’t there so the choice is teams sign riders that will 100% put racing in England first over any other country yes we’d lose a lot of riders but we’d have riders that actually want to be here and give there best .

I have the same thoughts about Ben unfortunately - also with Leicester winning at Ipswich last night I’d say play offs are fast becoming a distant dream for the Stars the Ko is our best chance of silverware especially with Ipswich injury problems

Expecting far too much of Bomber he’s not a number one any more remember how old he is as well - same with Iversen both good second strings or at best 3rd heat leader . As for how to improve the side I’ve no idea anyone that wants to race in the UK is already here so it’s carry on with the riders we have other than maybe swap the R/S but would they be any better ?Play offs are more or less gone so let’s concentrate on getting 5th place which we should do

Hopefully that’s what Lynn fans get great racing on a well prepared track and I’m sure the team will pick up more wins as the season progresses .

Mid May and Top 4 more or less sorted barring injuries or a team pulling a rabbit out the hat of a signing - that’s poor for any sport - makes me wonder the next 3 and half months of league racing going to be like ?

This fantasy speedway who and where is this 8 point assessed rider ? The team is what it is for this season . There might be changes if injuries force the situation and who knows Robert Lambert might fancy the last month of the season once Poland and the GPs have finished - but for now I honestly can’t see any change in the team

Even at this very early stage of the season Birmingham and Oxford season is all but over hopefully the Stars won’t join this group - 3 of the 4 play off places are all sorted now barring injuries of course - so from now it’s all about the 4th spot between Stars and the Lions and it’s only mid April which isn’t good for the league. And you are correct it’s waiting for September plays offs
