As I said the track hasn’t moved nor has the sun at this time of the year - I certainly don’t recall any sun delays in 70s 80s or 90s but guess the riders wasn’t going as fast or they used tinted visors
-
Poor racing so far gate and go pleased im watching via the stream - as for sun delays never happened in Terry Betts day and the track hasn’t moved and nor has the sun at this time of year

Think we might as well accept team changes are very unlikely to happen mainly because of rider availability . Hopefully the rules will be relaxed on 3 league rule for 2023 .
-
Like I said rider availability or lack of riders - Though Justin Sedgmen was one that was available but he’s been snapped up - so like I said they will stick with what they got .
-
Absolutely agree with what you are saying but I’d say odds on favourite for me is sticking with what we have will be shocked if they make a change -in my opinion I think the thinking is if we make the top 4 all well and good if we don’t the safety barrier can go away to next March - lack of rider availability comes into it obviously but there is a certain lack of ambition as well .
-
Ha ha the the answer is definitely a big YES to that one Lol
-
R/R or guests then - a capable replacement would be hard to find I’d say at this stage of the season
-
Totally agree about the BSN stream first time I’ve used last night paid £42 for 5 meetings is great value- streaming meetings is definitely the way forward for clubs a seasons pass for our fav clubs would be a great idea - with the cost of admission and travel costs and everything else going up in price watching from home is a great option . That said can’t beat attending any sport live .

Belle Vue v Ipswich Monday June 6th Live on TV
Haza replied to racers and royals's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Another entertaining meeting from the NSS - fans staying home to watch is understandable I think £20 + to get in while can watch on tv if already paying for Eurosport makes no sense in paying twice - along with cost of living expenses it makes complete sense to watch from home . Not even convinced reduced admission would make much difference to crowd levels at tv meetings nowadays. -
Short answer NO
-
I’d say he has a few concerns about Sophie Blake his ex partner and mum to Scott’s daughter - I’d say that could well be playing on his mind - he might have to make the same decision as Greg Hancock did when his wife wasn’t well - who could blame Scott if he decided to concentrate on media commentary ?
-
Winning team and Covid less of a problem they should be up - though cost of living crisis might counter act the other two .
-
Well done the Stars on there win - a 10 point win over one of the title favourites has to be a great result- so Kerr and Worral had a quite night I’m sure both will pay an important part in up coming meetings was still a 10 point win what some would like a 15-20 point win I guess
-
Can we really wonder why fans stay away on tv nights ? Travel costs and admission - then all we hear daily on the media cost of living crisis so if fans have access to Eurosport can any really wonder why fans stay at home and watch
-
Is Cameron Heeps still available??
-
Unless he’s dropped a league or Polish rules have changed either is a possibility (let’s hope one or the other is the case )can’t see how he can be back .
-
I can see the dreaded R/R will be Iversen / Kildeman replacement especially if Belle Vue are blocked from signing Zagar
-
Why stop any club from strengthening there side ? Why in speedway does it seem weak is better ?obviously clubs shouldn’t be allowed to strengthen during the play offs but at this early stage of the season i can’t see the problem All clubs had the same opportunity to sign Zagar id have thought and same opportunities to try to bring other riders back to the uk but no yet again weaken the product is the way forward . Only in speedway
-
Absolutely perfect close a track just because the club wants to put out a stronger side - just about sums British speedway logic up
-
If that is the case as you interpret the rule if I was the BV Promoter I’d say ok then that’s it we pull out of the league we will sit out the 2022 season - see what happens then -basically the PL season is over 5 team league

Big congratulations o the Stars reaching the final much deserved. -
What utter rubbish Have a look at results for 2000 was very unlucky not to have won the top flight that season and also early 70s we was there it there about a to say we’ve never been a proper team in the top flight is absolute rubbish.

Ipswich Vs Kings Lynn Thurs March 31st LC
Haza replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I was there that Good Friday morning Lee rode for KL and if my memory serves me right Lee beat the then England captain Ray Wilson 2 or 3 times though I guess some would argue Wilson was passed his best still a great achievement for a 16 year old on debut . -
Whatever happened to him? Other that that abysmal cringe worthy war cry and the flying lap thing that lasted about two meetings can’t think of anything else he bought to the club .
