  1. With the stock car meetings coming up my guess running the Sheffield meeting isn’t top priority for Buster
  2. That might well be the case with Kerr all I’m saying his crash at Pboro and nearly losing his life might well have had an effect on him wanting to ride or not last night .
  3. Certainly was - all I’m saying if I’d almost died at work in an accident I’d want all precautions taken so it didn’t happen again and riding when conditions isn’t good probably wasn’t a risk work taking for Kerr - we should remember riders are human as well.
  4. On the other hand Kerr almost lost his life at Pboro a few years ago - it might just make him think about riding on a wet track and taking risks .
  5. As I’ve said before - speedway maximum hassle and aggravation for low income - stock cars minimal aggravation and hassle maximum income . It’s really a no brainier for Buster or any stadium owner . The leading question is why 3 thousand will turn up at Eastbourne for Stock cars but won’t for speedway ?
  6. Buster won’t sell Kings Lynn least of all the stadium he makes far to much money from the stock cars he could though sell the speedway promotion rights but as others have said who’d take it on and what Buster would get from such sale as things stand at this time would be peanuts I’d say it’s more or less a worthless asset. Time will tell I guess but heat of the moment reaction my bet Buster will still be running KL come 2022 .
  7. Don’t think even at that price you’ll find many takers sadly .
  8. Looking at the photos I’ve seen it looked like a swamp - was it Batch and young Holder getting there own back on Buster
  9. Big congratulations to the team on there win and a great start for Alex Brady
  10. If I was him I’d get out while I’m not seriously injured- a Jason has won everything there is to win quit now if I was him
  11. Definitely having a dig which is fine by me
  12. I guess that’s a dig at me and many many more that’s stopped going for various reasons over the last few seasons - As for Roger I’m pleased he does go he loves his speedway - but should he really have to pay to go into a meeting? after all the sponsorship money he put into the club ? I no the line has to be drawn somewhere on letting people in free obviously but I personally think Roger has been put on the wrong side of the line .
  13. Have to agree - was a main sponsor ploughed a lot of money into the club -he lived and breathed KL speedway and was dropped and had to pay to get in as you say . Money talks I guess and if a bigger offer comes in to sponsor the club I guess most would go with it - But there wasn’t a more loyal sponsor than Roger and his wife but loyalty counted for nothing in the end .
  14. Time will tell I guess but as I posted earlier today I wish Alex well in this role and I hope he helps to bring the same success as Rob did
  15. As I posted earlier I wish Alex well in this role
  16. Is Alex Brady a yes man if so he will get on fine if he isn’t a yes man as others at the club have found could be a short lived appointment..
  17. I wish Alex Brady well in his role I really hope he can help to turn the team around .
  18. Much improved performance from the Stars and a very well done for that wonder if had anything to do with ditching the former team manager ?
  19. What is worrying the lack of interest on this thread and on Twitter and Facebook in this meeting .Though I guess it’s season over for KL
  20. That’s the number 1 requirement to be a yes man
  21. Yes it’s for safety reason for stock cars .
