One thing for certain the same old isn’t working and hasn’t been for a few seasons now so change has to come - Maybe a return of the Ko cup though with just 6 teams would be difficult - or 13 heats and a proper second half rider of the night final or perhaps 18 heat meetings but need to try something And some thing really revolutionary promotors putting a bit of effort in to promote the sport would be a starting point - return of themed nights like when Jonathan was there corny yes but the kids loved it though hang on not many kids now go so we are back to promotors promoting again - 15 heats more downgrading for 2022 for £20 or more only going to lead to even lower crowds if some effort isn’t made to up the value for money feeling . They have to try something

How about some new original ideas that’s going to get the public interested - can’t just keep plodding along as we are - next season two rising stars per team no disrespect to the hopefully young rising star riders but it’s yet another devaluation of the product but will admission costs go down ? More likely to go up causing more fans to walk away - new ideas needed promotions need to think outside the box and it needs to be done now .
-
The current state of British speedway no one in there right mind would take either club on unless they’ve money to burn - and as for a sale don’t think he hope in hell of someone buying either club the promotion rights a more or less worthless .What Buster should actually be looking for is someone to take on the running costs .

The change of team manager seems to have worked wonders -just think the team needs freshening up it’s no good keep going with the same old mates Riss is surely gone for one .
-
Definitely new faces are needed for 2022 no good picking your mates that’s failed this season surely a different approach is needed and new blood needed - that’s said Lawson is a good signing but along with Mountain if he does come back that is I’d left it there bringing this seasons riders back

2022 season is a long way off many issues have to be decided regarding league numbers team strength but at KL if Allit is in charge biggest issue is it’s not another jobs for the boys side a 1-7 with all the usual suspects isn’t what’s needed - definitely new faces is what’s needed

Either way a two year deal isn’t worth the paper it’s written on unless suites rider and club .
-
A two year deal unless the rider gets a better offer I’d guess .
-
But in Kings Lynn case they didnt do either with team they started the season with I mean

Just as important as who’s in the team in 2022 if the PL stays a 6 team league and the season starts in March how do we fill a full season of fixtures ? - this season started on May 17 and if Sheffield hadn’t been called of the season would now be over now so If it starts in March season could be over end of June or will the season again start in May ? Lots to be decided ahead of 2022
-
How will the fixture list be filled if league racing starts in March 2022 ? Season over in July ? This year it didn’t start until May 17 th

With the stock car meetings coming up my guess running the Sheffield meeting isn’t top priority for Buster

That might well be the case with Kerr all I’m saying his crash at Pboro and nearly losing his life might well have had an effect on him wanting to ride or not last night . -

Certainly was - all I’m saying if I’d almost died at work in an accident I’d want all precautions taken so it didn’t happen again and riding when conditions isn’t good probably wasn’t a risk work taking for Kerr - we should remember riders are human as well. -

On the other hand Kerr almost lost his life at Pboro a few years ago - it might just make him think about riding on a wet track and taking risks . -

As I’ve said before - speedway maximum hassle and aggravation for low income - stock cars minimal aggravation and hassle maximum income . It’s really a no brainier for Buster or any stadium owner . The leading question is why 3 thousand will turn up at Eastbourne for Stock cars but won’t for speedway ? -

Buster won’t sell Kings Lynn least of all the stadium he makes far to much money from the stock cars he could though sell the speedway promotion rights but as others have said who’d take it on and what Buster would get from such sale as things stand at this time would be peanuts I’d say it’s more or less a worthless asset. Time will tell I guess but heat of the moment reaction my bet Buster will still be running KL come 2022 . -

Don’t think even at that price you’ll find many takers sadly . -

Definitely having a dig which is fine by me
-
I guess that’s a dig at me and many many more that’s stopped going for various reasons over the last few seasons - As for Roger I’m pleased he does go he loves his speedway - but should he really have to pay to go into a meeting? after all the sponsorship money he put into the club ? I no the line has to be drawn somewhere on letting people in free obviously but I personally think Roger has been put on the wrong side of the line .
-
Have to agree - was a main sponsor ploughed a lot of money into the club -he lived and breathed KL speedway and was dropped and had to pay to get in as you say . Money talks I guess and if a bigger offer comes in to sponsor the club I guess most would go with it - But there wasn’t a more loyal sponsor than Roger and his wife but loyalty counted for nothing in the end .
