surly the main prioritie is you get a new promotion in place because without that you needn't bother about team strength or even a team .

can't beat hitting the ground running with team building the earlier the better as time goes by the choice of riders gets less as others sign riders up sadly we are going down the same route as last winter let's hope we don't end up with another very ordinary team .

I'm never going to criticise Rory because he was a breath away from being in a wheel chair after the Polish crash in 2015 all I'm going to say as far as I no he still has metal work in his back and last season it was always a worry if and when he came off and he did but thankfully it wasn't his back he damaged - Rory was very uncomfortable on the bike I thought and you can't blame him for that maybe Championship speedway getting some confidence back he will do a good job in both leagues but for me last season at Lynn he was always a worry.

but Rye is very near to both Stansted and Luton airport so doubt that will be a problem

On a slightly different note would a change to first race at 7-30 help to attract more fans along to each meeting ? I'm thinking school children and fans who start work early the next day -some of the meeting have dragged on some weeks 10pm Finnish some weeks I feel a 7-30 start may help to get more fans attending .

well clearly there isn't and really why on earth should there be ? If that's was the case let's help Plymouth as well and other promotions over the years why didn't we help Birmingham when they quit the EL - Mildenhall Boston the list is endless - if BV was in such a dire situation why didn't they ditch Zagar ? as he was clearly a drain on none existent finance . Morton and Gordon knew the situation but buried there heads in the sand . Yes they delivered a great track and stadium but at what cost to them and how can anyone make money or even break even at BV thanks to these two.

how can anyone stop someone who is self employed earning a living ? a brick layer or a plumber perhaps has 2 or 3 jobs going at the same time it's no different - if a rider challenged this rule in a court it get thrown out .

I'd have thought Huckenbeck would be a dead cert on a low average also the same can be said about Batch if we don't use him others will on a very low average

You have Morton and Gordon turned a dream into reality in getting the new stadium built but whatever school of finance did they go too ?? And I still say how on earth can any promotion make this stadium pay it be a miilstone round any new promotion neck - if they got any sense they will move back into the old stadium.

As I've said before how can any promotion make money or even break even on this club with the loan to pay and the crowd levels it's near impossible I'd have thought - Aces need a play off final crowd week in week out or a millionaire owner who has money to burn .Morton and Gordon delivered the new stadium hands up I never thought that would happen but they both could be remembered for the wrong reasons .
