I can understand why you would be happy with your promoter, but many others can see what he gets up to, indeed some of us have first hand experience of his actions. I think the issue here is that the majority of Poole fans that post on here are either unable, or not prepared, to see the truth of it all.

But everyone knows that the BSPA is a clique. A bunch of guys ,who, if you are "in" you get everything you want, and if you are "out" then the opposite applies. We are also very aware which side Matt Ford fits, so that tends to pour cold water on your theory in my opinion.

I don't disagree, I think everyone realises that the team at the top of the league are the true champs. We do, however, have a situation where play offs are part of our sport, & I don't see anything wrong in giving a trophy to both league & play off winners. As things stand at present the team that wins the play offs get the glory, & they are not necessarily the best team over the full season. So why not reward the league winners, as I said it works in other sports.

But that is not the issue, the promoters take the risk not the fans.. That's what business is all about. Neither is it about the actual value of the lost races, it's about doing the right thing by the fans , regardless of whether there were 188 or 1880. As I stated previously it's all about principles, plus a small dose of integrity.
