I just love it when I read the word " democracy" in a discussion involving the BSPA. Perhaps they should invest in a dictionary and look up the meaning of the word, and while they are on, check out the words honesty, integrity&,transparency. I won't be holding my breath though.

Yes!!! Ivor Brown. He was disliked by quite a few I think. I remember one end of season meeting at Monmore when Ivor was up against Ron Mountford in some match races, and old Ron left him dumped in the safety fence big time. Great days

Yes, but only if they are doing something that benefits the sport. I can think of one ex world champ currently holding a position that he is obviously not suited to , and that is of no use to anyone.

I "like " posts that happen to believe are appropriate to the topic. You let yourself down by getting aggressive with anyone who happens disagree with your posts, and then go on to take digs at anyone that might support that view. At the same time you regularly use the "like" button yourself. It seems to me you are incapable of taking any type of criticism, and if anyone dares to question your views you just have to use the bully type approach in an attempt to silence them. Well it will not work on me. I will continue to use the like button and comment on quotes, yours included, when appropriate.

The irony of it all !! We have a guy who posts in defence of someone who is being "slagged off ", and he does that by slagging someone else off.

Hi, Hotels do get full for this weekend in Pardubice so best to book early, Hotel Labe and Zlata Stika are popular. Trains in CZ are first class and you will have no problem getting back to Prague on the Sunday evening. It is a 100k journey but the trains are inexpensive and journey times vary between 1hr and 1hr 20m depending on which type of train you catch.Taxis to the stadium are readily available about 15mins journey but they seem to charge what they please.Anything between 200-350 czk each way is possible. taxis are always outside the stadium after the meeting. There is also a very useful bus service which costs virtually nothing,they even run golden helmet specials for the day. tickets can be obtained in the kiosks at the Pardubice railway station and the buses run from just outside the station entrance. Much cheaper than taxis.Its a great weekend, but try and buy tickets online before you go as it a pain to buy them at the stadium, usually long queues and very slow service. Hope this helps.

Yes the 22 is the tram to catch, just make sure you are heading in the right direction. The tram needs to be going to Bila Hora. There aren't any decent bars around the stadium to my knowledge, much better hanging around the city during the day.

I think they are still trying to master the art of running men's speedway events.
