Nikki, Wandering off?! You guys were wearing the correct attire for the majority of the bars - we weren't. A lot of our gang were in trainers and consequently turned away at the door. Sob. -

woody-the-bee replied to Steve Turner's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Thanks for running the competition Steve, an excellent final result. Credit to everyone who played, especially Drakey - it was a great battle right to the end. I look forward to defending the title next season -

Going to have to be an all-in to try and get 1st spot back. Hmmm this needs some serious thought... -

M50 Closed Saturday 7am Until 7pm
woody-the-bee replied to robbiec45's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I reckon I'll stay on the M5 until junction 11, then get on the A40 at Gloucester. Takes you pretty much the same way - you need to get on the A40 when you come off the M50 anyway. -
Parking In Cardiff
woody-the-bee replied to Matt Davis's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
There's more than one train station in Cardiff isn't there? We parked in the small car park by the NCP - right by the stadium. Very reasonably priced and wasn't even full either. -

Where did you find this information? Last year I parked there for 24 hours at a cost of £6 - and didn't have a rail ticket. -

Parking In Cardiff

Last year I parked in the train station car park. 24 hour CCTV, and it's pretty cheap too. The stadium is literally a 2 minute walk from the car park. Will be doing it all by taxi this year, as our hotel is out of town. -

drag random members off the streets of london and ask them to think of a new rule to introduce next season. you never know, racing whilst balancing a ball on your nose might really work...

Cardiff GP 2005
woody-the-bee replied to Daniel Smith's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
we didn't get our tickets until april last year and we still got top notch seats! shame we've left it too late once again to get a hotel though... looks like it's the train station car park in my nice little peugeot again, unless some nice forumer wants to help a woody in crisis? -
British Boys - Class of 2005

for me scott nicholls is still the number one brit. you must take into account his horrific accident earlier in the season when assessing this year's GP performance. david norris did very well this season in the EL, finishing as the highest averaged brit, and also did very well as a wildcard in the GP - but surely he's not as good as a fully fit nicholls? -
i'm led to believe this year's conference is in our very own london.
