  1. Chopper, yes and fair play to them, they remain in business, viable and entertaining
  2. The team sheet for Kingslynn tommorrow night does not show a lack of riders good enough for the NL i dont think I remember a couple of posts from a while ago, from whom i cant remember, saying they wouldnt turn up to watch there teams race when the Saints were visiting as the team was full of rookie wobblers!!! If you take these rookie wobblers and look at them now,the saints could have gone into the NL this year with a team of Howarth,Morris,Worrall,Worrall,Birks,Irving and Wrathall, Not a bad team or group or riders that for a bunch of rookie Wobblers,is here a team in the NL 2011 who could beat them???
  3. I think that will happen anyway looking at the two teams, something to do with declared line ups i would think Shame Lewis Kerr is riding, always kept an eye on him since seeing him at Scunny, was looking forward to seeing him again, seems a talented rider
  4. Kev,you go on about how the Aussie lads put bums on seats at West row,Poole,Kurtz and in the event of,Heeps,im sure the cost of employing the likes of these lads doesnt come cheap, and with the Fen Tigers enjoying good crowds this year without them, you wonder if the financail risk is worth it,the year when the Poole and Kurtz were hardly good financial years were they, didnt you alomost close one year and did the next???
  5. Hoping for an away win here,I think Irving is at reserve for the Saints which could be the difference between the two teams
  6. [quote name='PhilK' timestamp='1307905645' post='1951296' I do find it interesting that those who continuingly attack the possibility of Mildenhall tracking young Heeps, don't spend a little of their time attacking the PL clubs who fill their reserve berths with overseas riders rather than giving the young Brits their chance to develop! After all surely the development of a young rider doesn't begin and end in the NL? But maybe thats not in your/their (self) interest?? Its a good point raised there PhilK,i think possibly something should be done to fill at least one reserve berth in the Pl to compliment the new stance in the NL
  7. He will be riding for Rye tomorrow!!!doing a Tyson Nelson!!!!
  8. [quote name='heathen79' timestamp='1307210399' post='1946421 Yikes! And gary Irving slips into reserve for the mighty Saints,on a real average of 9.04,ass about face springs to mind!!!!
  9. Erm i dont think so,im far better looking maybe you could answer the question, what have i to jealous about?
  10. Why would i be jealous? would you care to elaborate??
  11. Hell of a good win there for Dudley, fair play,i thought the colts would take some beating this year at home,Dudley seem to take to the track better than the colts looking at the fallers Sounds like some good entertainment off the track aswell, you cant beat it!!!!
  12. Didnt Mildenhall close anyway???? is there enough cash in the NL to pay overseas riders? im not so sure there is,be it stand alone or dual clubs,i fear the NL cant afford to do it
  13. agreed, but there is a difference to entering the country and coming here to race speedway
  14. if you got dual national parentage, all you need is a passport and a plane ticket, simples
  15. not at 15,read the rules, clearly states 16years old if he had Dual Nationality, why did he not start the season,???like Branford,Morris etc
  16. i fear that when the lad Heeps makes his debut[sorry if he makes it]there will be some form of protest from the oposition team Could there be a messy outcome like last year with Tyson Nelson?????
  17. i could never work that taylor poole one out, came in NL on a 3 and he had british passport yet when he went to stoke,he didnt have one........????
  18. Was a great race, entering the last bend i dont think either the saints rider or the two hitmen knew what or who was where, was great stuff and set up a nice tight ned to the meeting
  19. Huge well done to the Saints, thoughly dserved full match points on what was a tricky track early on,and well done to Sheff on a slick race night, THe Worral twins were a class apart but special mention must go to Gary Irving, beat riders all night when the presure was on,thye way they kept there heads in that latter stages of the Stoke meeting when they nudged in front was very impressive Good to see Lambert walk away from what looked an awfull crash and get back on his bike Starting to feel very sorry for Paul Cooper, clearly not fit and low on confidence, only way is up i guess Top of the league!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Cant see the prowlers mentioned,i thought they were the Scunthorpe/Sheffield saints??? http://www.speedwaygb.co/nlteams.html
  21. Good, the sheffield fans wont believe what there are hearing...old silencers!!!Yipeeeeee
  22. What weather doing in Sheff this morning?
