some people seam to forget just how far richard lawson and craid gook have come on in a short time riding speedway both were riding a very short time before getting team places and just improved in rapid fashion cookie a litte faster than richardbut both are top prem league riders who can also score good points in the eliete league on there day

not a good enough excuess to walk out and i dont for 1 minute think thats all there is to it and even if it was why say he wanted time out from speedway to spend time with his familyand just for the record i would welcome a happy and on form rusty in to any team and i actually get on with the lad quite well from his days at lakeland motorcycles

so we should sign him and hope he dosnt fall out with the new promotion ?

1 thing i will say in rustys deffense was when the call went out that more fans were needed through the turnstyles to save the club from the outgoing owner, rusty along with his family went through the turnstyles to support the club not taking anything away from whats allready been said about him walking out on the team maybe he had his reasons maybe he just didnt want to ride most of us will never know but thats over and done with lets look forward to 2013 and hopefully we get 2 cracking riders to finish off the team

i make that 4.14 for last rider so proberbly only jason king or charles wright from experienced riders ritchie in the body of the team coming back from injury might knock him back if hes struggling for fitness and form early on but on last years form he should have no problem

they are 12.87 combined so would fit if ricky wells was in the team woul rather have him as 2nd string rather than 3rd heat leader not convinced he can keep good form hes a bit upand down but deffinatly worth thinking about

i think a book of 10 tickets is £115 works out £11.50 a meeting can also be bought in books of 3 or 5 with a little less reduction this can only be good for the fans maybe even a few away fans might save by buying a book of 3 aslong as there not too far away

full paying adult price at workington reduced to £13 with free race card for 2013 also dicount offers for buying books of tickets in advance

unless that club is in the eliete league then its a different matter maybe and if im not wrong a similar deal was done many years ago when a rider was sold to glasgow from a troubled workington promotion

the new workington promotion are doing a great job in talking to the fans via the forum and its going down well with the fans its got to be good if the promotrion actually listen to the fans rather than ignore them
