Yeap, weather was terrible. Track wasnt in so good shape before the meeting. I would say that the shale on the track is totally wrong type. There wasnt hard surface on the track. You could kick it like 10cm deep and it was just as soft as the top. And rain didnt help it. My opinion would have been to cancel the meeting. And ride it later.. with more racing and spectators. But referee says how it goes. Only top5 riders could actualy race. Rest just tried to go around for 4 laps. On sunday at Seinäjoki. Weather was great and so was the track that had been prepared in the way it should be. One of the best tracks in Finland at the moment. Still some accidents and broken bones and bikes. I think totally last weekend 4 bikes and 3 or 4 riders. One with ribs and lung, one with collarbone, one twisted knee, concussion and one with little concussion. I hope we have full teams on this week's sunday at Lahti. How is the track?

Yeah, actualy life is easy here. With even student budget you can live very nicely. Problem in training in here was that I was not able to get a garrage.. because it was just stupid to bring bikes in here for just a weekend. But.. 3 weeks and flight home. Damn, I havent actualy been this long time away from my bikes in 8 years. I miss them more than the people in Finland.

And Im in the wrong place! I think I should bribe my teachers to let me go back to Finland earlier. Because my plan to do training in Bydgoszcz went... Ei se nyt taas menny ihan niin ku piti prkl..

He rode his 2 last heats. So I guess he is ok? It was bad looking accident. But luckily he escaped it. It took a while to repair the fence. But Emils heats were worth to see. Damn that kid knows how to ride.

I came to do my studies in Poland to start the season earlier. And then I get the worst winter in a life time. Mayby to Croatia or Slovenia on spring 2011..

I hope that weather would start to getting warmer. Again today at morning there was snow on the ground and temperature under zero celsius here in Bydgoszcz. What I have understood is that this is actualy the coldest winter in Poland for 30 years? I want my global warming.. I have paid my enviromental taxes so I want it!

Thx for the info! It would be great if Extraliiga would be driven in that new way. I think that only right way to race league matches is pairs.

Yeap, I noticed that too. Wierd.. I remember there was a number of meetings when you cant represent other teams. But this is like he is riding for them but his points dont count? Was he named for the team too late or something?

In heat 12. there was Lahti I riders too.. Not only Pori's. It had rained heavily but still track was smooth and hard. Very good track for KC riders. Not very exciting racing mostly.. few battle heats. Like heat 5. where Viljanen was chased by Nyman and Eerikäinen. I was at the best place of watching after I missed my start totally.

About Autio's "no-xray" thing. That is simply unbelievable! Because what I have heard and seen the pics. It was "High energy crash". And there should be atleast neck x-ray and usualy chest too. But trauma-CT would be the best. It will cause more radiation but you find everything from those pics. Il bet that there has been "arvauskeskus(guess center, name for finnish health center)" doctor doing summertime job in that local hospital. What I have learned this summer is that if you have a good doctor in private sector you should use him/her.

Kylmäkorpi was in Germany. Riding in a longtrack meeting. What I read from another forum. Track was terrible and his earlier damaged hand could not take it. So he was just 14th.

Kind of sad that Haapajärvi didnt ride in KaupunkiCup. But their riders where at Seinäjoki on the next day. And so is that Pori wasnt able to get a full team.

Damn this is bad. Mustonen from Team Finland is supposed to ride in Biefeld tomorrow in longtrack meeting with Laukkanen. It's qual. for GP challenge.

Compared to last years of Finnish speedway. Tracks has been great. Like in Seinäjoki in first KaupunkiCup meeting. But when we take back few years in our minds.. those tracks were more like MX. There was some great idea that racing in terrible conditions would make better riders. But it was horrible when only league riders where able to ride. edit: I just wanted to do my part for entertaining

Yeap, many riders had problems with slick track to get grip. I tried too hard and fell once in the first bend and in my last heat I tried to pass Owizyc from the inside. Hit his back tyre and woke up at ambulance.. with shoulder blade and 3 ribs broken. 2 moths of rest now..

Actualy we have problems with getting water on track. Could be that there is ice in water pipes.. So NO training at the moment in Varkaus. Did Kalle fell and injured himself? There is W and rest of the heats are -'s. "Kalle Katajisto (2,1,w,-,-) 3"

Yeap, after what I saw today at Varkaus. Track was good and weather was great! Kalle is fast at the moment. There was Katajisto, Mäkinen and Mustonen training today. I was eating gravel behind them.. Tomorrow we shall continue. Or I will atleast. Dont know about the boys..

Any info about AJ? www.sportowefakty.pl there is that AJ had a big crash.. or that is what I understanded.

At JK's website there is that he is out for 4 weeks. But who knows how healing will go.. "Ameriikan vitamiinejä" and he will be back in 3 weeks!
