  1. The most recent MA is used unless the rider has averages in both leagues for the current season. In your example Kurtz’ PL average would be converted.
  2. From other comments on the Forum, Eastbourne’s meetings will be expunged from the records for riders at the end of the season, so all Eastbourne contracted riders and a substantial number of opposition riders will receive new MAs.
  3. I believe that the GSAs remain unchanged after an annulment.
  4. An RS rider should not have a ‘Column B’ figure, that is an error that first appeared in Issue 21. Bowtell’s underlying average is between 4.47 and 6.98.
  5. All Promoters will know what the proposals are for 2022, discussions go on through the season prior to the AGM
  6. In the context of overall seasonal budgets, loan fees are a minor expenditure and unlikely to influence a signing decision.
  7. Nonsense - Today has around 7 million listeners a week.
  8. BBC Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme mentioned Team GB’s SON win in their early sports report this morning.
  9. Dale is a licensed Promoter at Kings Lynn.
  10. Difficult to follow your post, but I don’t see why we couldn’t have won a league title - we always put an attractive and successful team on track.
  11. That’s not correct, had Keith Chapman not bought the Club after the 2018 season Ged and I would have continued running it, it would not have closed and was never in danger of closing under Ged’s stewardship.
  12. Ideal opportunity to use the horizontal racecard format that only needs the names entering once -)
  13. You can, technically, but it's a moot point given c) below. 013.6.3 Injured Rider Replacement (IRR) Facility allows one certified injured rider (1-5 by MA) remaining programmed rides, including a ride in which he was unable to re-start but was not disqualified – FN. To be taken by other team members, including any guest riders, and subject to: - a) The injured rider not having completed 3 rides in total b) Only one position per team may be declared as IRR c) All riders with an MA below the injured rider may take one IRR ride each. d) Reserve can have more than one IRR ride
  14. Kerr could guest at Peterbough on Thursday, but only for MPT No special dispensation needed
  15. Yes, with RR for Ostergaard with all riders eligible for an RR ride.
  16. The 8 day rule doesn’t apply to guesting for a home No 1 so it could be done by shuffling the line-up.
  17. This has been corrected now to show Janowski in 4th place overall. Nice symmetry that last night’s final included the eventual top four in the world.
  18. SGP have Lindgren 4th overall, as Janowski had a GP win I believe he should be 4th. The Final Overall SGP Classification In case of Riders involved in a tie on the Final Overall SGP Classification, at the end of the SGP Series, the following will apply: 1. Run-off for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 2. Run-off for 6th place, which is the last qualifying place for the following year’s SGP Series. 3. For all other placings Precedence will be given to the Rider having the greatest amount of SGP 1st place results, Followed by 2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on in the current season. If the Tie still persists precedence will be given to the Rider with the highest Final Classification at the last round of the current SGP
  19. I've done this while watching the GP but think it's OK: Less than More than 6.34 Flint 6.02 5.00 Thomas 4.00 3.91 Kemp 5.00 Bailey 3.91 Gilkes 2.00 4.72 J Thompson 5.19 Freeman 6.93 Bowtell 4.15 5.31 Hume 5.00 4.27 Jenkins 3.00 5.98 Palin 5.51
  20. That's as good as any other theory, but pretty futile as anyone with a spreadsheet and time on their hands can work out the average. The team position gives a range for the average without any calculation anyway - Flint's average is between 6.34 and 6.02 according to the official GSAs.
  21. It simply follows the tradition that averages always change on 1st of the month, but it would be more logical for them to change before the first play-off matches.
  22. Maybe, but the BSPL averages as posted are the official averages and the only ones that apply for team-building etc.
