  1. My mistake, I wasn’t looking at the current GSAs. As you say, RR for Ulrich, guest for Danyon
  2. The FIM regulations state: The current year’s final overall SGP classification after removing any rider having finished in the top 6, but having withdrawn from the SGP for the following year before the following year’s line-up has been published shall determine the rider’s qualifications for next year’s SGP championship as follows: • The top 6 riders of the final overall 2022 SGP classification (including any qualified nominated substitute rider) will be directly qualified for the following year’s SGP series. • The top 3 riders from the 2022 FIM SGP World championship qualification meetings (art. 71a) will be directly qualified for the following year’s SGP series. Should a rider who has qualified from these qualification meetings also be in the top 6 of the final overall SGP classification of that year, and then the next available rider from the FIM SGP World championship qualification meetings will be selected. • The winner of the 2022 FIME Speedway European championship will be directly qualified for the following years SGP series. • Should a rider who has qualified from the FIME Speedway European championship also be in the top 6 of the final overall SGP classification of that year, or the top 3 riders from the FIM SGP World championship qualification meetings (art. 71a) then an extra additional rider will be nominated by the SGP commission. • 5 additional riders will be nominated by the SGP commission. • 1 wild card rider per event decided in accordance with art. 3.5. • Should a rider withdraw after the publication of the official rider Line- up for the following year’s SGP season, then the first rider available on the official SGP nominated substitute list shall replace him. • 7 riders will be nominated by the SGP commission for the official SGP nominated substitute list.
  3. The number of matches used to calculate the MA has reduced month by month over the season. The most recent achieved MA is the one used which would be the CL average in this case.
  4. SR 012.4.2 Guest Rider Replaces an absent regular team member subject to the following: - a) if the absent rider, with an established MA, is in the top 1-5 of the team, then the missing rider’s MA will be enhanced by +5% at a home meeting to determine the allowance for the guest rider b) a rider may ride as a guest (in an official meeting) at a track only once in an 8 day period (within that league) unless he is replacing the home teams #1 or is an NDL rider guesting for the home team c) the guest must be in a current team declaration and have an MA that is the same or lower than that of the absent rider. If a rider has an established MA in both Premiership and Championship leagues the MA for the league for which the rider is guesting, will Speedway Control Bureau Regulations 115 be used. If the rider does not have an established MA in that particular league then the conversion factor of 1.5 will apply d) the guest assumes the position and MA of the missing rider. A guest rider in a ‘double header’ shall count as one meeting only e) no rider, whose team is in the play offs may appear as a guest in the play offs, in that league.
  5. I don’t believe riders are added to the guest pool once their Club is eliminated from the play-offs.
  6. Companies House has four directors listed https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/11808346/officers
  7. Plymouth shouldn't have needed the BSPL to point out why that is the right thing to do....
  8. Comfortably past 30! Exceptional result given the line-ups
  9. SR 12.4.2.e : no rider, whose team is in the play offs may appear as a guest in the play offs, in that league.
  10. I’d expect Harris and Nicholls to have 7 rides each, Basso 6. That should take Peterborough past the 30 mark.
  11. PETEROROUGH’S injury jinx has struck again ahead of tonight’s (Thursday) Premiership trip to King’s Lynn. Already missing Michael Palm Toft and Ulrich Ostergaard in their top five, the Crendon Panthers will also be without Hans Andersen who suffered concussion in a crash at Poole on Wednesday in Neil Middleditch’s Testimonial meeting. Andersen will be ruled out for nine days, and Panthers are grateful to James Wright for answering the call to step in at short notice in a situation where rider availability is extremely limited. Panthers are also still to confirm a rider in the Rising Star position as Jordan Jenkins is injured and Jake Mulford is already in the Czech Republic preparing for his European Under-19 round this weekend.
  12. The facility for an RS in the 1-5 is to use the No 8, RR, or another RS as a guest, so neither of the suggestions in bold above could happen.
  13. STATEMENT: PETERBOROUGH v SHEFFIELD Wednesday, August 31, 2022 BRITISH Speedway Promoters’ Ltd and our official tyre partner Anlas can confirm a full investigation into Monday’s abandoned Premiership fixture at Peterborough is taking place. All parties are fully committed to understanding the circumstances which led to a halt being called after ten races of the Panthers’ match against Sheffield, and to avoid a repeat in the future. Going forward, we can immediately confirm that for the remaining meetings at the East of England Arena this season, all riders will be provided with two new tyres at the start of the event. This will be in place in time for the Peterborough v Ipswich fixture on Monday September 5. The Alwalton circuit is unique in the sport, and has previously presented challenges with tyres, regardless of manufacturer. It is possible that the conditions arising from the afternoon start to the meeting were a contributory factor, especially bearing in mind that the previous occasion in which there were significant issues was also a Bank Holiday daytime event, although in that case it was possible to complete all 15 races. BSP Ltd and Anlas treat rider safety as top priority, and whilst accepting that isolated incidents are and always have been inevitable, we are all determined to reach a conclusion which overcomes the challenges presented by this circuit. As a club, Peterborough is as important to us as all others. Anlas were immediately in touch with us when they became aware of Monday’s issues, and we thank them for their continued support. We look forward to working with Anlas on finding the solutions which ensure the circumstances of Peterborough on Monday are not repeated, and we are all sorry for supporters present on the day that the meeting had to be curtailed.
  14. The SCB have issued a Supplementary Regulation today: Amendment to the Tyre Regulation for the Peterborough circuit only. 04.2.19 Tyres – addition For the remaining of the 2022 season the tyre regulation for the Peterborough circuit will be as follows – Each Team will have supplied 14 new ANLAS – FIM/ANSW03020 SW003 for use in each meeting, which are not rider specific.
  15. 31st August as usual, but with the requisite three days notice changes needed to be made by Sunday last.
  16. That would be the pile of used tyres awaiting disposal
  17. The ‘donor team’ would need to sign a replacement rider for their 1-7, despite having no meetings left and it’s difficult to see that happening. The transfer deadline has now passed. The BSPL would not, in my opinion, agree such a re-declaration as being in the best interests of the sport.
  18. That can’t happen, riders remain contracted until 31st October. The rider could guest in the play-offs though
