  1. That simply isn't possible, as I and others have explained on this forum. The deadline for seasonal changes (which is 28th July) is the same for all Clubs, so should Kings Lynn decide to make a change the rider released would, by default, become available to another Club.
  2. PETERBOROUGH are out to end a fierce rivalry in the perfect manner today. The T Balfe Construction Panthers entertain Redcar at the East of England Showground (5pm). It is the sixth meeting between the two teams in 2017 and Peterborough stand proudly unbeaten so far with four victories ahead of a thrilling 45-45 draw in the North-East on Thursday night. And Johnson is predicting two ultra-determined teams will lay on another terrific spectacle as they go in search of valuable points in their quests for a play-off place. Johnson said: Its turned into quite a rivalry between ourselves and Redcar this season and our intention is to end it with another three league points. It should be a cracking meeting as they will do everything they can to grab a win against us today. We have to be mindful of that, but Im confident we have enough strength to get the job done at our place again. We cant afford to drop any more points at home. We need victories to get ourselves closer to the play-off places and put pressure on the teams currently in the top four. Peterborough welcome back Great Britain star Chris Harris and New Zealand champion Bradley Wilson-Dean today. They both missed the Media Prima Arena deadlock last week due to commitments in the SGB Premiership. But Panthers are not quite at full strength today due to number one Jack Holder racing in the first round of the World Under 21 Championship final in Poland. Club chiefs have turned to Ipswich ace Rory Schlein to step in as a guest for the second time this season. He filled in with great effect in a June victory against Berwick when racking up a paid 13-point haul. But Johnson insists points from Simon Lambert and Tom Bacon at the bottom end of the team will also be vital today. He added: Its obviously never ideal to have a number one rider missing, but Rory proved he can fill that void when helping us out last month and Im sure he will do so again. Weve got a lot of strength in the main body of the team and Tom has been picking up his fair share of points down at reserve lately. Hopefully Simon can kick on as well now that he has had a couple of meetings to get back into the swing of things after his injury. Redcar are unchanged from Thursday which means German rider Tobias Busch returns to Alwalton for the first time since being injured in an April crash at the venue. TEAMS PETERBOROUGH: Tom Bacon, Chris Harris, Simon Lambert, Ulrich Ostergaard, Rory Schlein (guest), Paul Starke, Bradley Wilson-Dean. REDCAR: Jonas B. Andersen, Danny Ayres, Ben Barker, Tobias Busch, Jason Garrity, Ellis Perks, Charles Wright.
  3. I meant that KINGS LYNN then couldn't replace him.....
  4. Holder could be signed as a long-term injury replacement after the cut-off date if Kings Lynn released him - but they (Kings Lynn) couldn't then replace him as the deadline will have passed...... A guest in the upper leagues can only come from a declared 1-7 (Edited for clarity)
  5. The next GSAs (the averages for final team changes for 2017) will be made up as at Monday last, 17th July, so last night's meeting will have no bearing on them. 16.2.6.1 Updated MA’s will be calculated on all eligible meetings, up to and including Monday’s meetings each fortnight for issue on Thursday to become effective from the next Monday.
  6. Swindon now+12 in a +/- league, second to Belle Vue (+14) with Poole and Wolverhampton each +7. Kings Lynn +4, Rye House =, Somerset -8, Leicester -14.
  7. For that to happen Kings Lynn would have to release Chris Holder, without being able to replace him.......
  8. Danny Ayres is in Kings Lynn's declared 1-7+7

  10. That decision was also totally in accordance with the rule-book.
  11. The quote I included came directly from the rule book, which is available to all riders and officials.
  12. The process is in compliance with the rule-book 8.1.3 Riders, having served the mandatory suspension or other instructions so given regarding other injuries must provide written evidence from their own GP, Surgeon, Specialist or the Meeting Medical Officer, that they are fit to ride prior to resuming racing. But surely one of the first three options would be clearly preferable to the fourth? 5.00pm - Wright is on parade
  13. That's not a commitment Swindon could give, the rules lay down the order of priority and that cannot be altered by agreement.
  14. Rider choice doesn't enter into it. The priority rules are laid out in the rule-book.
  15. Looked a good call, Kevin scored 11+1 for Berwick at the Showground three weeks ago.
  16. The meeting is on Friday 28th July - not Saturday 29th.
  17. Premiership/Championship always takes priority over NDL.
  18. The new GSAs are effective from Monday 10th July.
  19. Once a rider has signed on for their first meeting they are prevented from racing elsewhere until the end of the World Cup. Hence the Swedish riders are free to race until Tuesday and the Polish riders until Saturday -conversely the Czech riders were released from their commitment yesterday, as will one team be on Tuesday and three on Friday.
  20. That's not correct, an injury replacement is allowed by permission.
  21. http://www.fim-live.com/en/library/download/60484/no_cache/1/ No changes to any declared Teams or starting numbers will be permitted throughout the SWC except in the case of injury or illness, supported by a Medical Certi cate where necessary, and approved by the International Jury. Where the International Jury approves such changes, the replacement Rider will occupy the original Rider’s place in the nominated Team.
  22. The highest average reserve has to ride at No 6.
