Who will Jason Crump be riding for in the Russian League?

Polish Ekstraliga - 2008 Attendances
youngy105 replied to Mateusz's topic in International World of Speedway
Amazing that as bad as Tarnow were last year they still managed an average attendance of over 8000. Wolves were the Tarnow of the Elite League in Britain in 2008 and I imagine their average attendance was around 800. -
When is the stadium due for completion?
-
Just nosied at the William Hill site and they've got odds for the 2009 SGP as: Nicki P - 5/4 Crump - 2/1 Gollob 7/1 Hancock & Andersen - 10/1 Adams - 12/1 Jonsson - 16/1 Sajfutdinov - 25/1 Holta, Nicholls & Lindgren - 50/1 Harris - 100/1 Ulamek, Bjerre & Walasek - 125/1

Flights To Bydgoszcz
youngy105 replied to bruno's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
www.skyscanner.net will help finding the cheapest flights to Bydgoszcz. -
Thanks for the pictures but it looks like they really could use an air fence. I wouldn't want to go crashing into that fence at high speed.

Congratulations Nicki

That's why he's World Champ....he hates losing. Congratulations Nicki. -
Can Nicki Get 6?
youngy105 replied to home straight's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
How old is Nicki? Is he 29? If he wants to he can go on and surpass both Mauger and Rickardsson on the 6 title mark. -
Around Bydgoszcz yes...away from there no. If Tomasz got to grips with the temporary tracks he could well be World Champion in 2009 but in those meetings after one bad ride he gives up and toodles around at the back.

The Final Grand Prix
youngy105 replied to rickmiller's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Apologies if this has been posted anywhere else but Niels-Kristian Iversen has withdrawn from the 'Final SGP' with a shoulder injury and will be replaced by Maciej Janowski with Grzegorz Zengota moving to number 17. *Taken from Speedwayworld.tv -
Gelsenkirchen Off !
youngy105 replied to smartace's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
No doubt we'd all like to see such and such have a go but the fact remains that Martin Smolinski has done nothing to warrant his removal from next weeks hastily rearranged final GP. It would be mightily unfair for the organisers to strip him of the chance and hand it to Holder, Sajfutdinov or another Pole and who's to say Smoli won't perform better than either of those 2. Look at the GP from Bydgoszcz 3-4 weeks ago and Jonsson didn't exactly pull up any trees did he........on his own Polish league track. I'm still trying to get my head round how an indoor speedway meeting gets called off.....I'm not sure how they did it but boy did they do it. -
Chris Holder For Next Weekend's Gp
youngy105 replied to KrisB's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I disagree. It should be the original wild card which was Martin Smolinski. It would be very unfair on him to have his chance denied due to Olsen and his team making a monumental cock up. -
Hans Andersen is scheduled to be at Belle Vue tomorrow riding for Coventry.
-
Cheers............hard to make out at times. Polish cameras seem to just concentrate on who is winning the race.
-
I've got Ferjan down as coming last in all his rides. Ljung beat him when they met....I think.

Why no Pavlic in heat 13???? Oops....who did Dryml replace in heat 13?
-
I missed that interview Sub....making a brew took priority
-
The tractor going round has just done 4 laps in a faster time than Matej Ferjan
-
Very honest interview with Pavlic admitting he hasn't enough experience yet for the GP's. Fair play to the lad for his honesty.
