  1. All got same points, wins 2nds etc and if you use qualifying they both finished above him
  2. Don’t think I’ve seen lambert get muscled out of so many points as he has tonight
  3. My Mrs just said there was still people waiting to get in when the meeting started
  4. The gates look very uneven and that’s unusual for belle vue, so much so that it looks like a couple of riders have stalled as tapes have gone up
  5. Anyhow let’s hope for a decent GP and hope for the sake of the series someone can take it to zmarzlik
  6. It’s not the GPs job to improve British speedway although you would hope there was people in the sport who would capitalise on the showcase event to help the domestic sport but have you never dealt with said people? I’m surprised we have got this far
  7. Buts that the problem there isn’t lots of you or enough, we all want great racing but a potential punters aren’t going to be tempted by a meeting, 15 folk up the man cave today who have all been regulars at Cardiff and dragged their family’s along, not one going this weekend and the all acknowledge the great racing belle vue can provide
  8. If the Muslim or Sikh community were running the GP Gorton would of been alive with streets buzzing with attractions and things to do just like the early years of Cardiff instead discovery put up some scaffolding with a big M on it and think that will entertain fans, some of you must of been to the weston super mare beach race, look how the organisers take over the town making it an event, discovery do nothing and that’s why people won’t go, it’s just a meeting not an event
  9. We were talking about Wembley this morning up the man cave and how poor the racing was but it was the atmosphere that made it
  10. I will go to belle vue happily a couple of times this season for a league meeting but the GP is a different thing all together, I didn’t go to landshut for the racing I went for the event, the experience, maybe I don’t like speedway anymore ? I have give blood sweat and tears for speedway on both sides of the fence all my life and still do, I am speedway, it’s my purpose and it breaks my heart to see the pinnacle of the sport in the Uk as such a low key event that won’t make a flutter to the outside world, I will be glued to the tv tonight but I haven’t got the feeling of missing out because it’s just a meeting and nothing else
  11. Yep thought you would miss the point, nothing wrong with belle vue track and yes it probably is the best track in the uk even though I would argue Workington is better but nobody went to Cardiff for the track or the racing ,they went for the event, for the whole experience, the day out, the p**s up, call it whatever you want and it attracted speedway folk who hasn’t been in years because of the buzz about the day and the crowd dropped off because the organisers rested in their past success instead of trying to improve it and it got stale, it needed a new Cardiff not belle vue. I’m sure the racing will be great tonight and tomorrow but that’s not going to attract me or 85%of the 1000s who went to Cardiff to go or any of the randem non speedway folk who went because of the buzz of the event ,the GP is an event, it’s a celebration, it’s a days entertainment, the speedway is secondary, 19,000 went last year and now we down to 6500 and it hasn’t even sold out
  12. And when the sport finally grasps why someone like me isn’t interested in going to a GP at belle vue then maybe we can move the sport forward, even some of the line up know belle vue is a backward step and before you miss the point Cardiff had run it’s corse too
  13. My Mrs and my lad are going to both but I’m not, tonight a friend offered me a ticket for Saturday but I’m just not interested in going
