Shout out to Tom Wooly who did a great job in ht 11, leading Kennet for almost a lap, giving Riss a chance to build up a lead. Not afraid to mix it, and can hold his own. As to the rest of the team, all battled well good to see Jordon back on form, but we badly missed Charles. Would have liked a few more points, I was hoping for 14, so it could be a close finish.

Comparing Darcy and Cook is irrelevant. Cook ignored red flags, he shoulder barged an official (all be it after he stepped into Cooks path), he also threw at least one punch. Few, if any come out of this with credit. I hope Cooks ban isn't over turned, it would make the whole thing a mockery.

Maybe Cooke was encouraged to appeal so the bans on him and Vissing would be staggered, thus lessening the effect.

Looking through the list of riders in the Premiership, only around 12 are full time PL riders, the rest are double up riders. Shows how far the standard has dropped, not long ago, top div 2 riders were promoted to reserves in div 1. Also means the running just one league would be just about impossible as there won't be enough riders to fill 20 teams.

I can't understand why after a false start, riders are given another 2 minutes, surely 1 minute should be enough.

Not sure of averages ect, but guests assume the average of the rider they are replacing.

Disappointing night, At the start of the season I thought we had a decent team, not firing yet. I like Kus but doesn't seem to be on it. Wholesale changes don't need to be made, but I agree Kus and Pijper could be the ones to go, although give them a little longer. MBA and Stewart are worth sticking with I think. Re Garrity incident, don't think it was the move Barker made , but the gesture as he crossed the line. However Garrity was well out of order with his reaction, hope a big fine ensued. Also not sure how JBA got excluded, there was a clash, (6 of one half a dozen of the other) but Garrity fell sometime after they touched.

For the first time for a long time, excited about the start of the season. Track looked good at P&P, The lads who have ridden have shown they are competitive from the start, can't wait. Also lots of changes at the track to make it look a lot better, all good.

Just an observation, but It's strange how weak teams, Redcar, Scunny, ect all seem to have fair track with no home track advantage, were as strong teams like Somerset have a home track advantage!!

I don't understand why the Buxton team manager should be held responsible for this, surely Carr should be responsible for coming out on a bike with no chain guard, this is a safety item, therefore the bike could be deemed unsafe. You can't ignore rules just because it's NL and not EL.

I feel strangely optimistic about this match, I think the bears could edge it.

Shelby had an argument, with the starting gate, think it was a draw, the gate got bent and Shelby got a few cuts and bruises, he was well enough to take a selfie with the paramedic in the ambulance, so I think he'll be good to go lol.
