  1. He was pretty good as well, not scared to mix it or run the deep stuff out wide. He was pretty poor on his previous visit with Brum in 2019 so I had minimal expectations before the meeting.
  2. Brilliant first match to come back to, smooth entry into the stadium and facemasks not being required increased the whole experience. Couldnt understand why Redcar didnt use a reserve for the r/r ride in ht1 which would have freed up Rowe for ht8. Wright and Allan were good as usual but them aside, Palm Toft was his usual lazy self and Sarj rode like he still had a Tigers race jacket on. He was pretty hard on Danyon Hume in ht12 who put in a good shift for a guest reserve. Ht13 looks like it will be a bit more tricky this season with Wells not keeping pace as the track changes. Lets stick a track around Glasgow Green next time and let everyone come in who wants to. Its an outrage IMO that this nonsense is still continuing.
  3. I've noticed Sarj's scores, he's been consistently consistent with some very good scores, not the rider we had. He has the potential to come back and bite us, unfortunately.
  4. Updates suggest it was a decent meeting, but another good win on the road to set us up for Redcar tomorrow at home.
  5. Thats a good away win, perhaps helped a little by Heeps r/r but a win nonetheless. The downside is two more riders withdrawn through injury, there have been quite a few injuries so far this year despite there being a relatively small number of meetings.
  6. On the balance of probability what do you think the answer might be?
  7. Its your responsibility to work out what to do, just the same as it would be if the weather forecast suggested rain and you weren't sure about travelling, no one can guarantee you anything so take control of your situation rather than outsourcing it. Is it really so difficult to cancel the hotel then if it is running book another later in the week?
  8. A really enjoyable meeting, still outrageous I can't exercise personal choice and attend Ashfield in person yet I can travel to Kent on Tuesday and Brum on Wednesday, or be amongst 12,000 others at Hampden in 10 days time.
  9. Sedgmen will be at reserve shortly if Sam Jensen keeps scoring like this. An airport burger night be required to postpone it another month.
  10. It would be interesting to see where the viewing audience geographically came from. The streaming company will have this from their analytics but it would be good to know how many away fans tuned in. I would also be interested in watching some of Glasgow's away matches if live streaming was available.
  11. Adult entry was £17 in 2019. £11.95 is less than I expected to pay. Bring it on, weather permitting of course.
  12. The behind closed doors is temporary, hopefully. By waiting another month or whenever the next batch of restrictions are finally lifted they wont need to spend unnecessary amounts of money on Covid mitigations in the stadium. Setting up the streaming service is a gamble but hopefully it pays off. I'm sure the owners are pretty tired of the restrictions like everyone else.
  13. The excitement had been quashed by having no fans in the stadium for an undetermined time. There is no substitute for visiting the track, and whilst streaming is appreciated as it gets us going again, its a distant second choice.
  14. No kidding, I could drive to Plymouth on Tuesday to watch Glasgow but cant watch my team at home, 10 miles along the road.
  15. The website needs a dedicated ticket page to make it easy to find or have a published time when ticket sales go live. It should always be easy for the customer.
  16. Last week of April there will be a plethora of restrictions lifted whether supported by data or not. Watch this space.
  17. Thats a big blow, he was definitely the trump card at reserve. We wont find a similar replacement from who is left.
  18. Sarj was also part of the previous 'Fast Track' system all those years ago.
  19. The guest system should use the home or away averages for riders rather than the combined i.e. riding away from home you can only use a guest with an away average up to the absent riders' away average.
  20. Hopefully sense will prevail and the bams stop having house parties so the speedway can open again in April!
  21. Far easier to achieve in the NL. This is Kent's first season in the Championship and they have to find that out. I doubt any team in our league breaks even never mind make profit.
