Wolverhampton?! It's bad enough having the British Final there. Where would they put the crowd?

One year I stayed in the stadium after the GP all night at a party and occasionally looked in as they dismantled the track and shipped the shale out on a continuous flow of trucks throughout the night. By 8am you would never have guessed a speedway meeting had taken place just 12 hours before. It's quite a meticulously timed operation.

The highlight for me was not having to listen to Tatum's OOOHHH! every lap when a front wheel comes off the ground. Stekkers was a welcome change and I thought Pearson was much better without Pob. I did have to chuckle at some of Stek's cliches though but thought he did a good job. Nice to see Shawn Moran in the pits with Grin. Two real speedway legends. I would love to see Greg win it at 41, how he keeps on doing what he does is remarkable.

I don't think even that is the case this year. I'm almost certain the Cardiff Wild Card will be hand picked this year. But it will still be a Brit I have no doubt about that.

Why make this thread sound like fact? Needs a question mark. A british wild card will put more bums on seats than Ward and I think IMG will bear that in mind.

The impression I got was that Krsko lost it to Gorican and Krsko were more than willing to continue. With regard to people saying we should have two British GPs, do you not think a second GP would start to see Cardiff crowds drop? A lot of people only go to 1 GP a year and at the moment that's Cardiff. If they had to choose they may opt for something a bit different.

Or just have the one Swedish GP in Malilla. Give the other one to Russia or Latvia again. Or let Krsko have theirs back.

it was on SGP site this morning that they popped the shoulder back in and x-rays came back all clear.

nice pay day for the authorities.
