  1. As much as it would be rewarding mediocrity in tai's case, and failing to concede they BSI made a mistake, I feel giving him another skid on the platter would make some riders fairly furious to put it nicely, and wouldnt want to be close to the likes of Schlein, Batchelor, numerous Poles, etc etc, when the news breaks as they will surely throw a mild hissy fit minimum. As they must now believe they are trying to fight an unwinnable battle. If Schlein or Batchelor, Stead, and other contenders dont spit chips about such a charitable gesture by BSI, but a stab in the back to them, I would be most surprised. Would it turn the circus into an absolute freak show...? IMO Yes it would. Would many riders be envyous or disgruntled with BSI? Of course. Would BSI be proven correct when Woffinden has a top 9 finish and justifies his charity pick? very doubtful? very very doubtful IMO. No brainer for mine. Harris to represent the GB flag, and Woffinden a possible replacement if Harris was unavailable through injury.
  2. IMO he would do a bit better next year, but for the sport to not be a complete rabble, they cant give him another shot, until he qualifies. The riders trying to have a go, would be disparaged no end if Tai jumped the que again. Once was acceptable, twice unforgivable. If this was allowed to happen, I truly believe it would be the right time for someone to start a breakaway series, and sign riders up and run a legit series based on merit, facts and results. The conflicts of interest in the current GP setup is a total joke and a well run alternative would soon take over as the premier competition.
  3. Sorry my MISTAKE! yes I remember - I couldnt download or view it as my computer is poor and it was using a tonne of MB. Guess that might explain Darcys bad last ride...Would love to see some of Darcys heat wins (preferably all 4 ) his mysterious last place, and of course the glory ride in the run off with young Max. All the best,
  4. Are you sure that's not rd 1 Henry? As I remember Latvia was a fine day, and why would the track be bad?
  5. Those videos are amazing!! the audio is crystal clear and the crowd chanting loudly: Leeeigghhh ..... Adammsss over and over is special. Must see.
  6. Just viewed it Jeffster Interesting it looked like they did the ceremony and award presentation for the round, before they had the run off for overall, they showed it like that but i'd say they just edited it and cut and pasted it in. Why I wouldnt have a clue. Next, I need to find the round 2 from Latvia.
  7. current Cardiff champion. I dont think its a co incidince that the only GP with English speaking people running the show, is the one he claimed. He'll only get better and did well to qualify on merit for next year, after qualifying properly in the first place. Demands respect, and its fair to say he was stuffed after a long season with 3 clubs etc. Cardiff victory > PO bad meeting or 2.
  8. sorry,,But what does the T mean in Wards 4th ride? Cant see anything, but I will try and figure it out. Looks like a beautiful meeting..wonder if the one in England will be up to scratch. As Mildura wont disappoint.
  9. maybe but prob only until they combine OR meet again in the GPs!!
  10. Thats what I call team riding....Go the Palmo Maggies. Good w/end so far,,,but St Fairies losing would have been evan better!!!ehheheh.
  11. Well done fullockracing that is shaping as a good field and thanks for keeping people up to date..long may it continue. Well for no reason other than to bring Pinjar Park back to the top I will give some sort of summary; Mason Campton was unbeaten - I believe and took out the final in the process, from the gate, in blistering fashion. Had an easy smooth style on the tight track and never looked in trouble, and it was hard to believe it was his first look at the circuit. Could be destined for Europe if he wants to, and will have a promising future. No one rides like that first up and doesnt have the ability to dominate in England. Go hard Mason! and keep making it look so simple. Lost the rest of my detailed summary, as my computer is letting me down and keeps freezing, and ive had it! stuffed if I can be stuffed writing it again. quickly Bryce was unlucky and is talented, Smart is no slouch, yeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Wish the Rob Woffinden Classic was tonight. Also good to see the new pit area and massive improvements to the pit area etc. You can view the action from anywhere, just like old Northline. Take note MonmoreGreen. And the smell of the fumes is better from the other side, so its all good. Must be the wind.
  12. How old are these lads, and they must be pretty good and keen to travel 1 million miles across our great desert?? I Will have to go I think.
  13. I wish I could but apart from the disasterous first round in Poland that staged only 3 heats each, there has been bugger all on youtube and I havent a clue who are selling DVDs!!! Short of asking Darky Ward on facebook, which I might have to try, good luck.
  14. Now Would anyone possibly know if round 3 of the junior World Final U/21 was filmed and how to view it or where to buy a DVD? Also the other 2 rounds any DVDs??? surely they would put all 3 rounds together and sell a DVD of the series. The FIM do for the GPs although I believe it takes ages for the boxed set to be available. Guess I'll check youtube now and then as I dont know who filmed the meetings etc. Last year it was done by a british company but dont spose they did this years. Anyway I plan to buy last years title But it would be good to order them together. Any one know??
  15. I wouldn't usually do this but since your an Aussie I'll do my best. edit: Looks like you have to watch it live or donate some cash to access archives. Take your pick.
  16. I may BIG Ward up now and then because he has given me no reason not to, and from all reports has exceeded all expectations and they are big bloody expectation mind you. His talents should be seen by all and recognised. He is producing the results when everything is stacked against him, and showing more bottle than any other Australian ever at his age. Until he gives me a reason not to rate him highly , I will continue rating him as the .......well.. BEST. the fact he was written off by the bookies after the crap 1st round, makes it evan more sweet as I believed in his bottle and his fight and it paid off.
  17. No problemo Marcel marcea I can guarantee you there is nothing but sheer astonishment and marvel at what he is capable of on the track and pride in the fact that another Aussie is stepping up to fill some big boots like Adams and Crump who are ageing warriors. Janowski obviously did very well today to force a 3 way run off for overall winner, and he showed true bottle also.
  18. You have a more open mind to foreign riders, I think your trying to say. I would expect nothing less as if you were focussed on GB riders lately you would have given the sport away and focussed on swimming or something else your country is pumping the money into to make your country competitive. I have no bias whatsoever and rate all riders equal. And Monmore cant be classified as a stadium.
  19. TBH he is an individual rider who excels when he has to. He hasnt shown unbelievable form for his clubs as he is so young and raw and still learning the team tactics and meaning of team racing. He has 90% of the complete package and the hardest 90%, it will just take a while for it to come out in a team setting as he is not a heat leader and is content just doing his job, which he does well, but he hasnt learnt how to dominate team matches just yet. He has however mastered winning individual meetings which is the true test of bottle and the rest will follow.
  20. Ward has stated he isnt interested in the GPs until 2012 after he has beaten Emils record in the u/21s. So he looks on target and shouldnt have to rush anything. Woffinden should be used as a scapegoat and example of what not to do. He went backwards as he was too eager to impress when he hadnt done the groundwork. Ward has just beaten the system and shown once again that he thrives under pressure, which is a trait that will have team managers fighting in the streets to secure his services.
  21. frigbo, on 02 October 2010 - 01:02 PM, said: Ward bottles it against the Latvian Nothing new there then .. practice for Monday night I suppose Well I wouldn't want to be backing Coventry then. Looks like you were a bit presumpuous and premature there suddensam15 aka your latest name in a spate of changes that's proving your mental strength. I suggest you keep your limited knowledge confined to the wolves history pages. The king is back. I said the King is Back. KING BACK. Looks like time for another line in my sig!!!
  22. Id imagine whoever gates is the most likely
  23. the question is how are gates selected. Current champion should have 1st pick for mine.
