  1. Totally agree with you. Kus had a good season and for all the points he scored ( Most from reserve) he didnt improve his ave I dont think, nor would he be likely to next season imo. Smith still has alot of potential and can ride just about every track, and as you say hes very exciting to watch.
  2. I'd much prefer to have Kozza ahead of Kus, Alden or Doolan!
  3. If posters kept up to date with speedway across the world instead of just telling us how much they are seemingly wanting to pay £20 to watch the mighties they would know Alden is no longer in retirement. Still, to some, Berwick is the be all and end all of speedway. I'd hate to see Alden back, a disruptive influence in the pits, only turns up and performs when he fancies it, no thanks.
  4. I think all there money will be going on bringing Doolan back tbh, a fans fav and im sure a certainty in the promotions eyes to double his ave next year.
  5. Whats the betting we see Alden back next year? Hes been signed as a guest rider for Smederna next year so clearly isnt retired.
  6. lol what would have happened to the pay office had you not been there to steady the ship.
  7. Speedway in this country is completely overpriced for the product that is provided and the amount of times you see R/R. Punters just get ripped off time after time.
  8. I'd quite happily say it to his face yeah.
  9. That is probably correct, but that is making the assumption that Cook has a brain to work that out, which I think is something he unfortunately lacks.
  10. He was signed as cover for two meetings, he hasnt been signed by Gorzow on a contract. Even if he had, they sign massive squads, there wouldnt be a chance in hell Mr Ego would get anywhere near getting in there team.
  11. How will it be alot more than me, do you know me?
  12. Cook isnt nearly as good as Doyle though, plus Doyley has ambition, he got himself out to Poland and Sweden and didnt just be the big fish in the small pond like Cook enjoys doing. Cook wont ever amount to anything other than a top PL rider.
  13. Are Glasgow to be the beneficiaries of a lottery win?
  14. I thought Berge done well, particularly considering his injury, would be quite happy if he ends up down the roat at Berwick next year.
  15. What about... Vissing Doolan Steve Worral Rusty Harrison Theo Pjiper Robin Aspegren Alex Edberg I personally feel that this team would challenge for the league title and really get Shielfield Park packed to the rafters. The reserve partners are good friends and I feel for them being able to play crazy golf on a saturday afternoon before working the high line in the evening is perfect. Doolan has loads of improvement in him, Steve Worral should improve on a quiet season, reckon he'd hit 9 easy? Harrison is still fairly young and with a bit more experience under his belt and riding for the right promotion I think he could improve out of all recognition. Pjiper is a true pro and very popular with the promotion and is always happy to pose for photos with the fans, like a young Danny Bird. Vissing is just Vissing, gives his all for the club and as a loyal fan I really appreciate that. If this 7 were to be signed, I'd buy my season ticket immediately and also buy a brick. Yeeeeeeehaaaaaaa!!
  16. Berwick could probably put out a team for all 3 leagues in this category, one of the few things they are very good at is putting out awful teams.
  17. Hopefully Somerset manage to do it tonight, best of luck to them, hopefully Mr Ego's ego is deflated somewhat this evening.
  18. 1.Kus 7.52 2.Doolan 6.91 3. Pijper 7.09 4. New 7pt man or Skidmore 6.99 5. Vissing 7.09 6. Edberg 3.84 7. Sargeant or another 3 pointer Total, with a new 7pt man = 42.45, with Skidmore 42.44. Think we will see something along these lines one way or another.
  19. Good for Berwick, he has put Poland and the u21's first all season and tbh again has not improved, quite happy for him not to return.
  20. No he doesnt. Proper speedway is raced on big tracks, like all the ones on the continent, not on dross like Armadale or Brough Park, so I'd say if he wants to progress then he doesnt need to move to a smaller track. He may not even bother with Britain next year.
  21. 1.Barker 2.Howarth 3.Kus 4.Krcmar 5.Vissing 6.Jensen 7. Sargeant
  22. If they sign Barker there going to have to shovel loads of muck on every week because thats the only time he likes Berwick.
  23. Think I should start supporting Newcastle. You can come on here and be brutally honest about your team and your views without having the forum police slag you off, think thats brilliant.
  24. What about a team full of the promotions best pals and the blokes who are best in the pub afterwards, and attending the various hogroasts. 1. Alden 2. Franc 3. Doolan 4. Jensen 5. Aspegren 6. Mudgway 7. Edberg
