  1. For all I expect them to be yes, say they get a couple of injuries another team could quite possibly take advantage and finish top. Berwick have many matches in hand for instance. If Berwick win at Redcar this Thursday which they should, then beat Sheffield and Edinburgh at home, Berwick are only 3 behind Edinburgh equal matches. So for all Edinburgh will probably finish top, I dont think its a foregone conclusion.
  2. How are Edinburgh the best when the season isnt even complete yet?
  3. Joking aside, Edberg is far better than Carr so fair play to Anderson for making the move.
  4. I'm sure the experience of turning out at number 2 for Czestochowa and riding with Nicki has really helped Alex regain his confidence, and I'm sure he is now ready to lead the team to play off glory. His kit is still immaculate (shock) so lets hope he can do the business.
  5. Or is it because he isnt anywhere near good enough ro ride in Poland or Sweden. Perhaps when he starts to show some ambition and quit the PL and branches out he may improve. In my opinion though I think he'll spend his entire career at Armadale scoring a max everyweek.
  6. What about Covatti for Wolbert? Wants to ride over here and he can't do any worse surely.
  7. Fantastic performamce from Berwick after Fridays shambles, well done lads.
  8. And Armadale is a true racers track isnt it 😳, all the worlds top riders have it top of there priority list to master the place....
  9. Would rather donate my £14 to chariry than put it in Andersons pockets after that disgraceful performance this evening.
  10. Genuine question for Edinburgh fans. Do you honestly enjoy thrashing team after team, week after week? Must be so boring watching most opposing riders struggling to get round.
  11. Id rather watch racing at Berwick, guys going flat out than watch the opposition struggling round the dale, each to there own though.
  12. If Berwick ride like we did tonight then look out Rye House. Berwick by 22+.
  13. Greaves is in for Kus on friday, who is racing back home. I trust it will be announced well in advance by Berwick and not at 6pm friday when the fans have already left.
  14. For all there was not much passing, I found it thoroughly entertaining this evening, good close hard racing between two teams really going for it. Kus was excellent, shame he had his customary duff ride but you really cant argue with 17. Weathers rode smart, Doolan really has turned a corner so full marks to him for that he rode excellent and looked fast. Vissing normal self, all action, unlucky to fall. Very disappointing from Jensen again and was correctly replaced by Kus, he really needs to pull his socks up. Bellego the usual enigma. Edinburgh still monumental favourites in this tie and be a shock beyond all belief if they dont go through. I'd be more interested in Berwick beating Rye on saturday and winning at Glasgow on sunday.
  15. Berwick to take this by 4. Kus should have at least 13 or 14 and its a much of a muchness elsewhere.
  16. One of the better meetings I have seen at Brough. Not going to criticise Vissing because hes been our standout rider this season, but he really cost us this evening. Jensen was unconvincing, as was Weathers, Doolan really appeared to have turned a corner which was good to see. Kus done what was expected, he should be scoring that everywhere and more as hes too good to be at reserve. Carr put plenty of effort in and perhaps deserved more. For the Diamonds King was a class apart, Lindgren was terrible first two then improved, Kerr and Robbo were solid. Apart from the top 4 I thought Newcastles other three were poor. All in all it was one of the better visits to Brough.
  17. Totally agree, think its very clear exactly where Bellego's loyalties are, his own personal commitments and being in the Ostrow team on a sunday.
  18. He was better on his last visit, actually managed to get round. Anyways, its not really the point, another meeting missed for Berwick.
  19. What a shambles no Bellego again. Yes he was in Italy, but he could have easily got a flight back, he manages a flight out to Poland each week after Berwick on a saturday. Was going to attend but I wont bother now. Wet and miserable start to the day here in Newcastle anyways.
  20. I certainly do not comment on Brough every week so your immediately wrong there. And I have never rode a speedway bike nor would I want to, but that does not mean I'm not entitled to an opinion on something I as a fan pay good money to watch.
  21. I dont very often. You shutup very quickly about Berwick fans commenting on the state of brough, why was that?
  22. Why do they need to have won anything to comment on the state of the track? Is that a general requirement these days? Can we let the fact they won the 4's about 3 years count on this occasion? Brough has been mainly awful on the 5 occasions I have been there this season, both from an entertainment point of view and also safety, bend 2 has been shocking.
