Clearly some people think Doolan is doing a great job so far, which frankly doesnt surprise me. Decent meeting without being spectacular. Workington were pretty much a cut above from the start, with the exception of Chris Mills who was absolutely woeful, why is he still in the team? Josh G absolutely untouchable throughout, he has really stepped up this season. Gating seemed to let the Diamonds down mostly, and when the Comets got out front they were quick. Imagine changes will be imminent at Brough.

Decent enough meeting, Jensen very good again, shame Kus got in his way the heat they got 5-1'd, I think Jensen would have passed them. Doolan looking pretty uninspiring, hopefully he will pick up. Alot better from Carr, Weathers as dependable as ever and Kus the usual enigma, brilliant when he gates, cant pass for toffee when he doesnt. Expect Berwick to go through on Thursday, think this is a pretty poor Sheffield side with the exception of Stead who really is a class above, always been one of the best visitors to Berwick over the years and he certainly didnt disappoint.

Yes generally but is that not because more often than not opposition riders can struggle at Brough? Berwick is very fair and i dare say away riders enjoy coming here because they know if they gate they have a great chance. Not two of the better strips in the country though.

I agree it is boring in the main. I was at Brough a few weeks ago though vs Somerset and it was exactly the same only slower. Both one dimensional tracks generally. However put a bunch of decent riders at Berwick and you see a good meeting, the U21 final last year was brilliant.

Cant see this being that great a meeting tbh, the GP seems an alot better option.

What a great offer, be nice to see more clubs doing things like this, hopefully there efforts are rewarded with a huge crowd.
