  1. Hope it’s a speedy recovery.. Chris holder filling in for 4-6 weeks would be smart business if he’s available
  2. No team can carry a heat leader this year away at Sheffield, KK really embarrassing performance I wouldn’t be shocked to see him sacked by next meeting. Not sure what was said between Kerr and MPT but it was abit of entertainment. Holder, Musielak carrying on their great start to season, rest of team are so comfy on this track young Dan looked a lot smoother than last week can see him improving more and more
  3. Exactly this. Just hope we keep it close maybe if Ellis ups his game from Thursday night we have a chance for the win
  4. Good to get the meeting on and a decent crowd. Classic first meeting of the season both teams abit rusty, Holder and Musielak were bang at it, as were Kurtz and Wright. Bewley will be disappointed with his points as he was defo on the pace. Ellis did well to score 5 his bikes just weren’t at it seemed to be well down on power hopefully sorts them issues out quicky. Bellego will be solid for Sheffield, would have won heat 8 if Gilkes didn’t block his run coming off bend 2. Blodorn had a quiet night and Brennan just never seems to mix it with the big boys when it comes to it. Both teams will be happy enough, can’t see BV struggling to earn the bonus point as 6 points just isn’t enough
  5. Yes it’s for the speedway. 3 quid I think parking
  6. Had half an hour of heavy rain.. now glorious blue skies… British weather eh
  7. Howarth was poor end of last season feel like number 4 is abit more pressure.. and Bellego and Ellis been close mates would have preferred them together. hopefully I’m proved wrong tonight and Kyle puts a good score in
  8. 99% sure Sheffields will be 1 holder 2 howarth 3 Ellis 4 Bellego 5 Musielak 6 Kerr 7 Gilkes
  9. Weather looks slightly dodgy for Thursday but hopefully changes :/ Like Phil said bit of a tense opener to start the season. That final meeting was full of drama and heated moments both teams will want to go out and prove something. Bellego and Ellis been riding a lot together the last few weeks looking forward to seeing them ride together. Dan Bewley class act can he have the same impact as Lambert did? I think how well the heat leaders score will decide the meeting. Who’s the ref? Or dare I ask?
  10. Such a stronger premier league than 2022. great to see some big names back. Ipswich Sheffield BV Leicester Peterborough KL Wolves
  11. Certainly spiced things up abit! Finally Doyle will have someone to ride heat 13 and 15 with. can’t wait to see Emil at Owlerton and against Holder, Musielak and Ellis. Well done Ipswich for getting him over here
  12. Them 3 teams to me will compete best away from home. I think Fricke and Lawson will be good together. Sheffield have a ridiculous team for Owlerton. Holder, Ellis, Musielak, Bellego and Kerr (who I expect to swap with Howarth from reserve) will put some teams to the sword. BV will miss Zagar but still have enough quality to comfortably finish in play offs and wolves in my opinion won’t win many aggregate points so think they’ll be down bottom
  13. Sheffield, Leicester, BV to fight it out for the title. Wolves for the wooden spoon
  14. Not a huge shock average fit perfectly. What a great looking team on paper that is. Injury free season for Adam and he’ll put a point on his average can see him and Bellego riding well together two classy riders around Owlerton. Of course I’m biased but that’s gotta be the strongest looking team in league just hope the lads are hungry to right some wrongs from last seasons league final
  15. Glad to see Justin get a premiership team he was class for us at reserve. Good luck to Allen too feel like he had a tough one in 2022 and is a much better rider than his average. Mountain surely going to get a ride somewhere?
  16. Good looking team good to see Bewley back in British speedway just wish Lambert could follow him too both were missed last year. Is it as strong as the team that won the play offs? I don’t think so. Brennan and Blodorn have to both improve on last season if they are to retain the title, and Zagar is a big loss, don’t think they’ll be good enough on away tracks to get the aggregate points. Two teams looking better on paper for me than BV but doesn’t mean anything until wheels start turning
  17. Sounds like a good prospect, Steady will be a great teacher and he shouldn’t feel any pressure coming into this solid looking team. welcome aboard Dan
  18. Had abit of a bad end to season Kyle looked very frustrated in the play offs. We know he’s better than that and if Bellego and Kerr have a solid start to season he knows he’ll probably drop to reserve so it’s the perfect motivation for him to re gain form. Great captain and Steady always with him in pits… Adam Ellis next
  19. Think Leicester have a strong looking team home and away. One of the Cook brothers would do a job at number 2
  20. Wrong… Nobody will have a better rider starting at reserve in 2023. Great to see Lewis back hopefully he continues where he left off last season. Will take a lot of pressure off the RS whoever it may be
  21. Holder, Howarth, Ellis, Bellego, Musielak, Kerr, RS. Kerr riding like a heat leader for us when he signed last year if he can get near that form he will end up riding at 2 and Kyle at reserve which you’d think he’d be more than handy especially at home. We know Bellego flys around Owlerton and hopefully Ellis can have an injury free year. No pressure on the RS just like Connor last year took him half of season to get there but he was great for us in the play offs and cup final
  22. What average would Berge come in on? would rather see Kerr in the team over Howarth even if we come way under the points limit
