  1. Those averages for Iversen & Lawson are based on their last 18 matches. For July the rolling averages will be for their last 16 matches, so will change a little!
  2. I've had a head injury previously & was basically told to do nothing! I guess Nicholls is "better" and just waiting to be allowed to race again?
  3. It makes sense for number 8s to be allowed to race in the Champ, otherwise riders like Dan & Joe Thompson would be giving up a full season of NL racing for potentially a couple of Prem fixtures. If a rising star is riding every week in the Prem & Champ do they still need to be racing in the NL though? However if only number 8s were allowed to "treble-up", King's Lynn could have listed Mulford as their RS & Edwards as their number 8 to allow Edwards to continue at NL. Could still pick Edwards every week ahead of Mulford - so if the rule is easily avoided - no point in having it!
  4. I'm not sure that removing the rule is learning from previous errors. Last year Flint was going so well in Champ & NL he deserved a call up, so no longer needed the NL to improve as a rider. I'd say it's a similar situation for Edwards, if he's good enough for the Prem, shouldn't be in the NL in my view.
  5. No, foreign riders can't fall below 4.00, so Lasse would drop to a 4.00 ave after his next match, pushing Sarjeant into the top 5.
  6. But once Fredriksen has one more match he & Hook will be a weak reserve pairing!
  7. Certainly stronger than Nicol, of Scunny want to make the play-offs have to win at Berwick, odd time not to pick the best available guest?
  8. Expected Edinburgh to do better, but they got the 3 points they needed
  9. Monarchs should certainly hit 50 & end Oxford's play-off hopes
  10. From Newcastle only Complin & Bickley have averages under Rowe's & you can add Congreave if Rowe is above 4.00 in July!
  11. Oxford only have one away match left to finish in a + position & overtake Redcar. Doing that would push Edinburgh into a - position. Also can't see Scunthorpe picking up many away points. Home wins should be enough for Redcar.
  12. Whoever finishes 1st, 2nd & 3rd means nothing. It's all about avoiding 4th place. In a super heat a 5-4 is as valuable as a 7-2. Never been a fan of this scoring system.
  13. Sedgmen would come in on a 4.34 ave at reserve.
  14. With two Ipswich riders clashing & falling, not fair to Peterborough to have all 4 back, so one of the Witches had to go
  15. I think Redcar are almost certs for the play-offs tbh. Can't see any teams out of the top 6 picking up away wins, so win at home & you're there!
  16. While Bickley might score a point or two more than McGurk, think Wright would score well below guests have been scoring for Kennett. Is it worth having a 7 man team that's weaker than their current 6 man team?
  17. If Pearson was a Birmingham asset I would agree with you, but as he belongs to Belle Vue I'd drop him if it makes you stronger. Even if he stays & improves there's nothing to stop him leaving in 2023 for Poole or Glasgow!
  18. Riders who don't have a team CAN'T guest for others, which makes no sense to me. But hey that's British Speedway for you! Edit: at first I thought you meant shared around as guests, or do you mean as permanent signings?
  19. Personally I'd go for Complin in place of Roynon. He's actually scored well enough away (4.67), just at Brough Park he was struggling (2.24)!
  20. Killeen scored what I expected tonight (0 points) you can't compare racing against a very weak (4 reserves) NL side to Glasgow possibly the most solid Champ side.
