It's a massive shame if Clouting loses his team spot because he's 0.13 above the minimum average!
-
Should use the old elite League fast track format, keeps HL's like Clegg, Flint & Bickley away from 3.00 reserves!
-
This team fits: Kent 1 Dan Gilkes 8.00 2 Jordan Jenkins 6.55 3 Rob Ledwith 5.93 4 Luke Harris 5.36 5 Jacob Clouting 3.16 6 Jake Mulford 3.00 7 Sam Hagon 3.00 Total 35.00

Is Danno Verge is based down south, would he travel up to Berwick?

In any other job in the country that would be age discrimination & illegal, how is speedway any different?
-
In 1996 the league was decided on % not match points, my Dad loved that season because Arena-Essex rode every week in the conference league. Nowadays I can't see how stand alone NL clubs can run with 8 home matches a year?
-
If a Premiership club gave him a team spot he wouldn't be riding in the NL!
-
You don't need to lower the minimum limit from 3.00 to 2.00 to encourage newcommers, as the limit is low every year, clubs will always need 3.00 men to fill the bottom end of the team!
-
If that's true, why would you reward teams for failure by giving them first pick? If anything should let league champions have first pick etc as they probably have the most points to shed from their team!

Is Jordan Palin ready for Championship speedway?

Kemp struggled because he went into the top 5 very quickly, which is far harder than being a NL heat leader! That being said a 3.5 ave for a 16/17 year old in their first season isn't bad! -

Sounds like you knew what you were talking about lol! -
Tbh that's pretty believeable!
-
Now tell spent all of 2019 in Eastbourne's top 5 I believe, so if he's starting at reserve he should do well!
-
I disagree, I think he could definitely increase his average!
-
As long as they don't average above 6.50 / 5.50!

Not exactly true, Mildenhall & Eastbourne have had quality teams full of young developing riders! -
If that's the rule, could in theory happen!

Bacon has had 2 seasons at Peterborough (17&18) & one at Redcar (19) how does he qualify?
-
I was wondering the same thing!

Best option I can see to replace Allen is Rene Bach, best "realistic" option maybe Connor Mountain? -

Sorry but that seems kinda childish, pulling out of the league & putting 6 riders out of a job just because you may struggle in the league! -
Not only is the 5.50 / 6.50 an odd choice of cut-off it also means a 6.49 & 3.51 Championship rider are the same grade 4!
-
I'm surprised Peterborough went for Palin, while he's very promising must be one of the weakest "rising stars" and if he has a sensational season he'll be at Belle Vue next year!
-
While Josh Bates qualifies as a "rising star" it's believable the restrictions put in place were designed to allow him entry! 1) 24 as of the 1st January of the current year (Bates turned 25 in February) 2) have an average under a Premiership League CMA of 5.50 (Bates is 5.07), or under a Championship League CMA of 6.50 (Bates is 6.19). Now if these regulations stay in place for 2022, I'll trust all is above board, however if the "rising star" requirements change It'll be very suspicious!
