  1. For their last spot, just sign anyone for a few weeks then when the Champ teams get a first new ave, sign Nico Covatti on a converted Champ ave (7.88 / 1.6 = 4.93) which will be lower than his current Prem ave (5.27)!
  2. Or they just decided they didn't want him & giving him time to find another track?
  3. Plymouth's top end look stronger, but IOW's bottom end looks stronger!
  4. If riders are free agents, how do you hear about a rider being blocked from riding? Say Palovaara at Leicester last season?
  5. Can't agree with you there, I think his average will go up! He can't be too bad as he's qualified for a GP series something Bewley & Lambert haven't done yet!
  6. Vissing signed in July on a 4.43 ave, which was his Champ ave converted (6.65 / 1.3 = 4.43) As he never rode enough matches in 2019 to get a Prem ave, surely he'll have to sign on his current Champ ave again (8.43 / 1.6 = 5.27)?
  7. Sam Masters 10.82 (2019) Linus Sundstrom 10.03 (2010) Edward Kennett 9.75 (2015) Richard Lawson 9.69 (2018) Nick Morris 9.44 (2018) Ricky Wells 9.30 (2017) Chris Neath 9.14 (2011) Total 68.17 My favourite team goes like this Rye House - Lakeside - Edinburgh!
  8. I think you're supposed to use end of season averages!
  9. I think Birmingham are clearly stronger than last year, but don't think they'll make top 6!
  10. It's never too early for a rider to aim for a number one spot!
  11. Might not get many heat wins, but that team should also avoid last places!
  12. Agreed, Palin, Gilkes, Thompson's etc would all have been signed if the minimum was 3.00!
  13. As each team only gets 2 home & 2 away matches with handicap racing available, shouldn't cause a massive loss on earnings!
  14. If that's the case bit of a shame a rider improves in a "development" league but gets dropped because he improved too much?
  15. Not sure how the 3.00 rule stops riders stepping up? There's always been newcomers to the league when there was a 3.00 minimum!
  16. He's on a low average because he had his worst ever UK season in 2019! If he gets back Tony s best would he a great signing! Maybe promoters don't see him improving again?
  17. Not a major risk, if a 3.00 riders scores poorly, they'll always be another to try later on in the season!
  18. Scored very well at Scunny compared to Newcastle, so if he's a confidence rider riding a full season at Scunny should see his average raise!
  19. If you're referring to Allen & Auty, I'll say - if the "upcoming young gun" scored more points than the "worn out 30 plus year old" he'd be a number one wouldn't he!
  20. I agree, I think Scunthorpe look a good team! Put them down for 4th / 5th place!
  21. Any rider from 2nd to 5th in the averages can ride at number 5 though!
