How can that be for sure, when the rules for next year haven't been agreed yet?

What Would You Change In Speedway Next Season?
szkocjasid replied to 4thbender's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
When riders miss matches for no good reason, no guests allowed & a 28 day ban! -
I must admit i thought Danny King would do better for Leicester this year, especially in a weaker top division! What do Leicester fans make of his performances this season?
-
What do Ipswich fans think of Newman this season? I guess I expected him to be a strong second string/ 3rd heat leader. A role he has pretty much met i'd say! Did Ipswich expect a bit more I wonder? Injuries make a difference?
-
What do Redcar fans think of Garrity this season? I know he's had injuries but i would've expected him to do better, with Barker on great form could've given Redcar a strong top 2!

How is Dan Bewley? -
I'm hoping they would make a stronger league next year! That's why i thought of a 40 limit for 6 riders!

I'm surprised Poole didn't give R Worrall an 8th match before bringing B Kurtz back in, after 7 matches he had a 6.27 ave but his Championship conversion would now be 7.32! Could've been a good pick for 2018 on a lower ave! Making up the rules for 2018 what about 6 man teams, 40 points limit? POOLE 1 Brady Kurtz 8.41 2 Richie Worrall 7.32 3 Chris Holder 7.16 4 Danny King 6.71 5 Jack Holder 5.69 6 Kacper Woryna 4.65 Total 39.94

Poole can still make the play-offs, season isn't over just yet! -
Looking at a visit to Leicester on Sat 26th as part of the Cycle Speedway British Finals weekend. Looking on the website it says adult admissions are £17 plus a 50p online fee! Is it also £17 on the gate? If so why would anyone book online?

But surely the Promoters knew that was possible when they voted in the rules at the AGM! They've left no provisions for injury replacements after July, so means there will be more guests & r/r! If promoters couldn't forsee that happening, they have only themselves to blame!

Heads Gone 2018 Team Building

Wouldn't have stopped Rye House dropping Ellis Perks as their new team as a whoile came under 42 points, but I agree with the idea in principle! -
Richie started the season on fire, so if he can return to that form, would be a decent replacement for Brady!

Good point, forgot about that!

New Averages For 42 Point Limit
szkocjasid replied to DunRobin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How does Musielak come in on his old EL ave of 4.53, but Kasprzak & Zengota get assesed averages because they didn't have Premiership averages? -
I see Musielak has signed on his old EL ave of 4.53, i thought riders with old EL aves got new assesed averages if they didn't have a Premiership average, like what happened with Zengota & Kasprzak for example?

Eastbourne, Belle Vue, Lakeside & Mildenhall are my tips for the top 4!

A Ellis would come into Div 2 on a 5.00 ave, would Sheffield prefer him to T Kurtz (5.00)? J Graversen would come into Div 2 on a 4.13 ave, would Sheffield prefer him to R Branford (4.13)? Z Wajtknecht would come into Div 2 on a 3.65 ave, another alternative to Branford?

The Championship is weaker than last years Premier League so it should have been easier for riders like JPB to step up! I think the NL getting weaker each year doesn't help youngsters improvement as it seems the step up to the Championship is larger each year! From the 42 ave that each team should in theory have, PL dropped to 40 & NL dropped to 39 so to step up a league next year will be more difficult right? -
Coles Out Now For Captain Fantastic
szkocjasid replied to boomerang's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
TO me they had to try someone to replace Coles! Greenwood did at least win heat 2 on Sunday! -
NO rider can be forced to ride if they're injured!

If the Premiership averages never change Newman could never drop to reserve as long as Klindt is in the team!

Don't know why isle of Wight won't go ahead and sign James Halder, seems the best available left to them!
