Well......What can i say. What a fantastic night, and brilliant to see such a big crowd. As for the result, as I've said on here before, it's a Cup, and we have won it, and deservedly so in my opinion. I can remember right at the start of the season on the Peterborough page, i constantly said that Chris Holder wasn't in the bag as some were saying, yes i knew all along, but what a bullet they dodged there. And when some said he's coming to Ipswich, Thank god i knew he wasn't. What a whinger, and I'm sure i speak for many Sheffield Fans, a very very bad signing, at any time of the season, this lad would of been a disastrous signing. But it is what it is. On Ipswich, simply hit form at the right time, i will still standby my original stuff on the team, that we kept loyal to Riss for to long, and Danny had been bang average when we were going through our awful spell.....but when I'm wrong, i admit I'm wrong and the last few meetings the skipper has really come to the party, last night he was so quick, and when not in front, he battled hard for every point. Emil, no words can be said that haven't already been said.....we must keep him...Simple. He must return to the GP's, will that change anything, i hope not. But for me Jason Doyle has been class for us from the day he walked in 2 years ago, last night, simply untouchable and for me he's next season's skipper. But it's easy to hail the big guns, what about Keynan Rew, found it hard this season, but he's kept going, now looks like he's enjoying it, pleasure to watch him last night, and for me another rider who we must try to keep. Erik Riss, yes i did say we should of changed him, and i still standby that as I've said, but he tries so hard, he is grateful for the loyalty shown and he deserves his moment of glory, and it may not be just last night where we get glory this season, depending on his average, we might keep him you know. Danyon and Joe went ok, i still feel for Joe but i hope we can retain Dan, but he's a R/S so not sure what pick we get for that next season. Danyon for me works so hard, but every time he goes round them bends he scares me to the point i don't watch, but another lad who deserves this trophy. Well done to everybody last night behind the scenes, brilliant to see so many celebrate on Centre Green with the rider's( Sadly i didn't as was wearing Flip Flops)but brilliant to see you all enjoy the victory. Onto Belle Vue and Monday night, it's not impossible you know, we couldn't could we, i think we could, and i hope to be there supporting the lads

Oh Well, It seems it's 5th for us this season(out of 7) Weve had Emil and Jason Doyle all season, don't think either have missed a meeting, and have entertained us every week and i'm sure most honest Speedway supporters, and fans of the other 6 teams will agree they have entertained those supporters as well. Yes we have a Cup Final to look forward to, and a Cup is a Cup as they say in most sports. We are also lucky to have a team to go and support every week in a declining league, i seriously get that point before any mud is thrown my way and i can't see who replaces Wolverhampton next season, rumours i hear are Oxford, possibly Poole(but i hope not)but if it is them then id accept it, but it needs to be minimum of 7 teams, but is 8 being to positive. But my main gripe and question is.......Is 5th place a failure, especially with our 2 big hitters, big mistakes have been made by management, and i mean the biggest being Ritchie Hawkins still being at the club, as ive boringly said on here before, 47 years a Foxhall supporter, he for me is the worst manager ive tactically seen for years. But should some blame be at Chris Louis door, i cant knock the loyalty shown to Erik Riss, but all those weeks of using R/R, relying on Danny King to get extra points, again Hawkins go to man in Heat 15 on some occasions this season(painful to watch). I hear there are no riders out there, and i'm not saying there was, but surely somebody could of come in for Erik 8 weeks ago, and scored a couple of more points than Erik did in those losses at Home to Belle Vue and at some away meetings where 3 or 4 more points on our league finish would of had us 2nd or 3rd and we wouldnt be riding Belle Vue until possibly the Final. And i can,t write this without the many many interviews before home meetings where Hawkins has said the League is our main aim, we must get top 4, that's all we are concerned about this season, anything else is a failure, his own words. So Thank you for another season completed, apart from next Thursday's 2nd leg, which is now i agree a big meeting, thanks to all of the volunteers who help every week, to all the Track workers as well, all valuable members of this Ipswich Speedway Family. And finally from me a Big Thank You to Ritchie Hawkins for a 5th place finish(unless Peterborough cause a miracle)for failing to make the Play Offs where he has had the best 2 riders ive seen at Foxhall for many many seasons in Jason Doyle and Emil Sayfutdinov. Oh and for me, Jason Doyle must return next season as Captain, that for this sad old supporter is a must. Enjoy your break everybody, and let's hope team building goes well for next season, and hope i see many of you at the Presentation Meal in November

All I've heard is potentially rumour,but there is an ongoing situation where Hawkins position is under serious consideration. If as I think should be the case and Hawkins leaves(worst team manager I've seen for a long time at Foxhall),then surely King's days are numbered. Danny has been a great servant to our club,but as you all know on here I've said he should of not been included this season(Just my opinion),so for me Hawkins and King being let go is a total No Brainer. Haven't heard nothing on King,more on Hawkins.

I wouldn't totally disagree with you on those 3, i think Riss could be in on a very low average, but i do believe Hawkins and King will not return. Not saying what ive heard is correct at all, but there is no smoke without fire, thats all im saying

Please not Danny King Again.......Yes it's been a failure this season and that could include a trophy in the Knockout Cup, but please don't put me througjh those winter months of knowing Danny King returns. Time to freshen things up surely, including the end of a terrible reign as Manager in Ritchie Hawkins.

So let me get this right.........We bring in Dan Thompson, one of the only riders Joe Thompson has beat this season. You seriously couldn't write this s*** I'm confused on Erik, is he not allowed to ride for us on Thursday at Sheffield coz of the 28 day thing, and do supporters think Erik will come back into the 7, or we keeping Barker. Yes last night was a great evening's entertainment for a small crowd, and a much needed win, but i still standby my original statement in April, we need to change the skipper if we want to win or even make the Play Offs. And make Jason Doyle Captain, but b4 you all shout at me, i don't know whose available to come in......Apart from Tungate, who even after last night id take all day right now. Just my opinion........

Well Said.....All Correct. The problem i see is nobody seems to know what the replacements should be..... Thompson i believe could be Bailey or Kemp Dont think as i said earlier that Barker will be retained after 28 Days, not sure whether Erik will ride again this season, so god knows who comes in there And Danny King should be the 1st released, but we all know it won't be him due to his relationship with Louis and Hawkins. But if they were to press the button then apart from Tungate (Who i would take)no other names seem to be forthcoming. I suppose thats an average thing.

I totally agree with you on Erik, no complaints from me there. I don't think Barker will be retained after 28 days and although I don't think Louis and Hawkins will remove King, I just feel as a loyal witch whose at home watching every week, King needs to go, but its other options and points I suppose that will make that decision. Would I take Tungate instead of King ....Yes I would, think he would be more consistent Home and Away, will it happen....No As for R/S, just think it needs changing, its not Joe's fault and he's trying hard, but we had to make a quick decision after Jack Thomas's crash, and it hasn't worked.

It's become sadly a couple of bad weeks and last Thursday for me was a huge wake up call. Didn't expect much last night if I'm honest, but its clear changes need ro be made. I know it splits opinion amongst us Witches fans, and I'm not saying I'm right, but I said b4 any names were in for this season that I didn't want Batchelor and King. Although I got my wish on one of them, I standby that I didn't want King, and I think he is 1 of the changes that has to happen. People will say who do you bring in, I seriously don't know, names are flying about, but King for me has to go. I didn't agree with Barker coming back, but I accepted it, and I feel when his 28 days are up, he won't be retained either. On the R/S, I'd change it, Joe is just not up to this level, again he is young and learning, but we all know the Jack Thomas crash cost us big style and Joe was a late call that had to be made, but he's struggling, Drew Kemp is vlearly somebody Louis doesn't want as is Anders Rowe, but the boy Bailey seems a possibility. But whatever happens I will be there Monday supporting the boys, but changes surely have to be made and quickly b4 Play Offs become a distant dream.

So.....Nikki Pedersen is in at Peterborough, seems quite a divided fan base. But it is good to see these top riders picking the UK to ride in. And it's a patience thing with Nikki, he will put Bums on seats I totally agree and I hope he settles in and scores big points for the Panthers.

If Gasser90 says his source has confirmed Holder is in,signed sealed and delivered then that for me is good business. And he heard that yesterday,so fair play, but at 11-30am yesterday morning Holder was 100% NOT a Panther. Things change by the minute, and this delay of naming riders by both teams proves there is some serious hold up for reasons apart from Work Permit's none of us know. It is quite boring now, and by the time these Septet's get named, some of us would possibly of switched off.

I would like to think both Peterbrough and Ipswich have riders sorted, and it's good for British Speedway if Peterborough is sorted at the helm of the club, as we need these tracks to keep running. Tomalin sounds a good move by your club, and let's hope some announcements are made sooner rather than later on the make up of our 2 sides, I must admit I also love coming to Peterborough to watch Speedway, it's just the suspense that's doing us all in now.

So You can 100% say you know Chris is a Panther this season yes....You have had that confirmed by his camp this morning,is that correct??? If yes,great work,and I stand corrected on my information,and I apologise for my stance on Holder But if you can confirm you have spoken to his camp this morning,then fair play.

I've said all along he might end up at Peterborough,I've never said he won't,but he certainly hasn't signed any contract anywhere as of Today,that's all I've said,and that was ages ago.

Id love to be able to confirm Emil, and ive loved the rumours linking him with my team, but the longer the saga goes on, the more you realise something is a miss. Never say never i suppose, what concerns me as ive said on here already a few times is, both our clubs need to hurry up and confirm what they are doing..... Clearly there are hitches with both Septets, Flappy hasn't got much wrong so far, so i probably think your 7 is closer than ours.

Know absolutely nothing on Tungate Flappy....Zero. Holder hadn't signed anything for any team,I've said it for ages,not saying he won't be a Panther....But he's not 1 yet. I'm not saying Ipswich have spoken to him either(they may have,I don't know) I can only state he's not a Panther yet. But as so many said on the Peterborough page, he won't ride for Buster, and that is a Fact.

Emil, Holder, Zagar.......Just announce it PLEASE. Our delay could be to do with the 2 U-Turns at Peterborough Christmas week. It could also still be Worrall and Batchelor, although it seems Batch is not part of our team plans from Day 1. The delay does seem to be Paperwork though and let's hope that is getting Emil over the line. We live in Hope

It's certainly gaining momentum, and somebody by all accounts has offered the budget for Emil......But I would be speechless if it was true.....Who Knows, but the delay for me on Emil is a positive not a negative, but I don't even know why I think that.......
