Thought i'd get home, sleep it off and then have a good catch up on here this morning. Read it all about peiople's thoughts on last night, and after following Ipswich everywhere apart from Belle Vue this season, i think ive seen enough Speedway for a small contribution. Not going to mention new riders on this page for next season, i will go on that page in a bit. But on last night, yes track was a leveller, and SOME of our boys fought till the bitter end. I would just like to congratulate Leicester and all of their supporters on a big result and wish them all the very best in the final, and i hope to attend their Home leg in the Final. I believe where we lost it was in 2 places and i don't include the inept refereeing by Christine Turnbull, who should just be struck off, as she single handidly did everything she could last night to ruin a great meeting. For me i really believed we lost it at Home, especially in the latter heats, when we needed our big guns to step up and they just failed, especially heat 15, that 5-1 for me to the Lions was crucial in the whole tie. And last night, it has to be Heat 8 for me, safely on a 5-1, to take a 10 point lead, with the momentum that brings, i feel we may of got over the line...JUST. But with all the experience Mr King has got, what he was doing to fall off just baffles me completely, never been able to Team Ride anyway, but thats where last night went for us. But however these people, who don't travel and watch from afar, which is fine with me, continue to support Danny King, as Captain as well is mind numbing. Nothing else i can say on that matter. So another season over, enjoyed every minute of it, until Emil's injury at Sheffield, as since then it's been nothing short of a Mangerial disaster. The non-replacement of Doyley for me personally, whilst top of the league and everybody was riding with so much confidence, could be the worst Management decision of seen at Foxhall for many many a year, no good moaning, ive spent so much money on watching the Witches this season, and yes i feel Management has let me and so so many travelling supporters down, but it's now done. Time for a break, i hope all the teams return, may even have the Prem upto 8 Teams, but that's me dreaming i suppose, as the rider shortage this season has proven a huge problem for all teams. Good luck to Leicester in the final, i do hope they win it, and as ive said i hope to be at their Home Leg to cheer them on. I hope to see so many friendly Witches faces on my travels again next season, i am hearing of at least 2 changes maybe 3, but thats for another page. Enjoy your breaks Ladies and Gents #speedwayisthewinner

You could well be right, but again, do not put Kvech in any of your 7's as we speak today, it simply isnt a done deal, or even close. I agree Rowe wont go anywhere, and i think NKI and Klindt will also return, can't see Leicester letting Lawson go, but i know nothing on that. Lot depends on this Polish Thursday situation as well to who rides in the UK, and i have enjoyed many meetings at Lynn this season, and i hope i will return next season to watch a few more.
-
I don't know much as it is all tittle tattle, but what i do know Kvech is no way a starter at Lynn next season, can't comment on the rest though. the Rowe rumour to Sheffield is also very wide of the mark, but things with Anders can change very quickly.

King’s Lynn vs Sheffield - 29.07.24
siggysigalos replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Just Home, and glad I went. Lynn were very good tonight, the form of Iversen is proving Key at Home. Kvech was unlucky on 2 occasions and 12 points vs 3 at Reserve was clearly the difference for me Sheffield huffed and puffed, although we stood with their travelling supporters and had an enjoyable evening and they supported their riders all night. Jack Holder was poor in all fairness as was Josh Pickering. Shocking performance from him, Tigers fans are hoping Woofy returns after Cardiff, and that is huge for them, but if he doesn't make it I wouldn't be surprised to see Lambert in the Tigers Septet for Cup Final and Play Offs. Enjoyable evening, well done to the Stars, decent crowd and now onto Foxhall Thursday and this time I won't be cheering the Stars on. -
King’s Lynn vs Sheffield - 29.07.24
siggysigalos replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm going Monday, and already looking forward to it, King's Lynn certainly have a very good chance, yes Sheffield are strong, it's only opinions on they are better than Ipswich, and for me, they are not, but we will see what happens in September to solve that argument. But this meeting could be close, Lawson is full of confidence and for me is better round Lynn than both Holder's and on last night i would take Iversen over Pickering all day long. Lynn are much stronger at reserve as well, so this should be good. Looking forward to my Speedway fix at Lynn on Monday night. -
King's Lynn v Ipswich 25/07/24
siggysigalos replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Wow, Ipswich fans expecting 55+, quite a pointless argument, like the one if we had Klindt and Basso,Lynn could of won, they didn't have them, like we could of had Doyley, and won by mote, but we didn't. Any away win is valued at this level, and if some of the Lynn fans had seen us at Leicester last Thursday like I did, then Lynn could feel a bit gutted they didn't win, as we were awful. That's Speedway, injuries are a big part of this sport, we have won meetings without Doyle,Ellis and King this season on many occasions, it is what it is, apart from speaking up on the subject of 55+(Pointless Conversation),I must add that's the 3rd time I've been to Lynn this season, and I'm hoping to go Monday Vs Sheffield and the crowds and supporters have been a pleasure to be around, all enjoyable evenings with good banter but MOST Lynn supporters knowledgeable conversations. As a genuine Speedway fan(Taking Ipswich out of it)I feel for all Lynn Supporters this season, they haven't had any luck with riders,Commitment from some and of course injuries, but they are a well supported team and hope they get sorted for next season, with or without Buster. Good night, and hope to be back Monday Night. -
Leicester v Ipswich July 18th
siggysigalos replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Went Last Night...Leicester were just better, it's that simple, no excuses from me, Emil apart and Keynan(9 Points from 7 rides)we were way off it and the best team deservedly won. I have said all season this Leicester side was under achieving as on paper I think they are very strong, and last night riders like Becker, Lawson(I'd still have him in the Witches septet) were very consistent, and if they can put a run together thos Leicester side could have a huge say in the Play Offs. So No excuses from me, Well done the Lions. And my moan sadly as a Witch is the same moan....Doyley has now been out for ages, and we continue with this guest situation, which I've said will comeback and bite us, and it does feel like the tide is turning. Musielak as of last night is 100% Not an option, although he has declared he wants to ride for Ipswich. But clearly something is stopping that from happening. We do need to bring in this Number 1, and we just have to keep the faith that Chris and Ritchie are working hard to get 1 in......But???? -
Only Guessing, but would imagine Joe Thompson could return as our R/S to cover his brother's lengthy lay off....On our Number 1.....Who knows. I also wouldn't rule out Michelsen being at Lynn,as last night he was with Rob Lyon for quite a while at the NSS, but for our new Number 1, the only 1 I wouldn't rule out is Musielak, but as we stand this morning on what looks like the 5th day running in Manchester....Another Dull Day, it could be anybody.

King’s Lynn 2024 serious team predictions
siggysigalos replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
After this week in Manchester, where Stead has Lambert with him,I would say Lambert will end up at Owlerton for Sheffield, but me personally would love him back at Lynn as surely you boys and girls haven't given up on 4th place yet. -
I'm not ITK as you put it, but i would certainly imagine by the time we go to Leicester on the 18th we could possibly have a new rider in, and i wouldn't rule out Musielak coming in' if not for us then Sheffield, but i would think Simon Stead will be working on Robert Lambert next week to replace Tai, but can see Musielak back riding here in next few weeks. Although id like to think Chris Louis could also be at Manchester all next week trying to talk someone into Foxhall for the run in. Trouble is we don't know who is making themselves available, so as per usual it's a guessing game.

I don't think Injury has anything to do with it and from what rumours, and theyvare only rumours I've heard on Tobi in last 7 Days are all now coming true, so I'd be stunned if he isn't riding in the UK by the 15th July, but you are very true in your words on will the BSPL allow it, I'd think they would have a say, but doubt they will stop him from riding. Who knows though as we all Know nothing surprises us all now with British Speedway -

Whatever Lynn do in next few weeks....Lambert is a No as previously said on this page and Musielak is a strange one......People hearing different things doesnt help the club, but ive also been told Musielak isnt returning to the Adrian Flux arena this season, for a number of reasons. But who knows, it's been a strange season full stop with injuries and guests all over the place, just on Robert returning, you would need the stars to be in Play offs or a Cup Final for him to even consider it as we speak, so interesting few weeks for the Stars, and even as an Ipswich fan, ive been to Kings Lynn this season more than once and i just feel that Fanbase deserves better, just think they just keep getting let down. But i suppose it's watch this space for the Loyal Lynn Fans. -
Totally agree, using guests all the time becomes a bit flat, yes results are excellent so who am i to moan, but as a Witches fan who travels Home and Away, i'd much rather see a new Rider come in for Doyley, whoever it is will struggle to get anywhere near to what Jason brings to this team, but i agree, it sums the sport up in the UK if Guests are continuosly used right through to the Play Offs and Cup Final, i know how hard they are trying to get one in, but one must come available soon and i for one would like a Permanent replacement for Jason sooner rather than later.

King's Lynn v Oxford 17/06/24
siggysigalos replied to Bald Bloke's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I decided to pop over to watch this meeting tonight to get my Speedway fix. Have to say very disappointed with Oxford(Not Janowski),but never really put up much of a fight,in fact a Feeble effort for a side who sit in 4th place, and King's Lynn didn't have to do a lot to win the meeting. Surprised at the Small Crowd, but I suppose with Eurosport covering it made some stay at home. Kvech went well, we will see how long that lasts, but early signs tonight are good. Anders Rowe is really impressing me at the moment, looks fast and tries to Team Ride all the time. Basso weighed in with good points as well. Good win for Lynn, plus the Bonus Point, which helps them in catching the Brummies for 6th Place. If they get the Musielak situation sorted, then they have a strong 1-7 who could certainly go on a run of good results and who knows where they could finish. Enjoyable evening, well done the Stars, dissappointing from the Spires. -
After the 3 Hour Drive, I was stunned to get to Oxford and it was Dry. Drizzle did start after Heat 1,and got gradually worse upto end of Heat 6. On the Situation in Heat 6, Tungate knew what he was doing, but for me the track on Bend 3 and 4 didn't look safe. I didn't look at this Dry Window you guys are suggesting, so can't comment on that, but it did come down heavy and it wasn't raceable whilst heavy rain was coming down. Not sure what to say if Oxford were winning by 10, would they wanted to carry on, I think getting to Heat 10 would of been an effort. Long way to go, but that's the Sport I'm afraid, but we were flying, especially Adam Ellis, but time to move onto Leicester next Thursday and possibly Danny King's return.
-
Forecast was poor, but its the hope it's wrong and we get some sort of meeting. But must admit this isn't looking good, and it seems Leicester making the earlier call was the right one.
-
On Route....47 Minutes away to be fair ...But can safely say its raining....Heavy ???
-
Great Shout on Danny, he surely wont be up to scratch for at least 2 or 3 meetings. I have said we have got lucky with Guests, but maybe that should of been worded that Ritchie has got them spot on, we also must remember we have only lost 2 meetings all season. So even with all the injuries, you are right we have definetly got ourselves in a great position, as iv'e said, id like Doyley's replacement in sooner rather than later, but i do agree it has to be the right rider and not a bad egg.
-
I do agree with wait until the right rider comes in, as ive said we don't want any bad egg coming in and spoiling what we have this season. I think my point was more i don't like hearing we can afford to lose a few, i go Home and Away, and yes thats through many many bad years, trust me, so i know we have been starved of success, but it's also a confidence and momentum sport, and it worries me the longer it takes, and as its been said, we can lose a few, then confidence from our younger riders may start to dwindle. I know Doyley is irreplaceable, so whoever we get has got a tough job on their hands, but i just think in time it's better to have a New rider in rather than guests, but i agree with you all if we have to wait so be it. Danny is hopefully back next Thursday, so that helps. I also agree that there doesnt seem to be a lot out there, Kings Lynn could only manage Jan Kvech, Belle Vue look likely to of lost Brady Kurtz for a while if not the whole season and who knows what they will bring in, so the list is minimal, although i expect Belle Vue at some stage to bring in Robert Lambert (That's a shoe in). As ive said on other posts i know that Vaculik and Dudek are a complete No Go. I suppose it's my passion coming out and i need to Wait like the rest of you.
