  1. Well,I believe last night's victory makes it 8 wins in a row Admittedly it was against poor opposition (it's not often you can say that about Poole) - but the Rockinest ones march on ! Desperately sad news about Zach, we will definitely miss him..
  2. Another great win for the Rockinest ones Six different Robins got a heat win at Poole, followed by five last night. Such a shame we won't be able to keep this young side together for future seasons ! Keep it up Swindon
  3. It is should have.. No need to thank me though !
  4. This is too close to call,, Whatever happens though, there will be a few very nervous Pirate fans when they awake tomorrow.. Now, I just await Shovlar's post re the almighty miracle needed for a Pirates victory
  5. Thoroughly enjoyed that.. If that had been my first meeting I would have been completely hooked ! The meeting had everything and some of the racing was excellent too
  6. Best wishes to Kyle, Adam and especially Pawel after that poor move by Riss..
  7. Another excellent result for the Robins tonight.. An especially well-done to BWD, what a performance from him... Onwards and upwards
  8. Welcome to Swindon Tobiasz Musielak (finally).. Hopefully we'll now go and pip those Pirates for the last PO place
  9. Excellent replacement for Garrity. Well done Leicester, I hope he is a success for you..
  10. A very predictable result but congratulations to Poland, thoroughly deserved. Was glad the Swedes hung in there for a while, was disappointed with the Russians, though they seemed very happy with third place ! As for Team GB, we just haven't got the quality of riders at the moment to be able to compete with the Poles in their homeland. Was pleased that Rosco gave a couple of the younger ones a chance, however, Cook was hugely disappointing, but I'd stick with young Lambert, Bomber did his best but the star of the show for GB was Steve Worrall, remember it was only 3 or 4 years ago when he was tootling around at the back for Newcastle..
  11. Surely the all conquering Poole Pirates should set their sights a little bit higher than Milik ?
  12. No class though, no fireworks or hot water if he loses..🚾
  13. No class though, no fireworks or hot water if he loses..💨
  14. Haven't seen all of this, but it has been excellent! Bonkers stuff..
  15. Rolf Gramstad was another fine Norwegian rider, unfortunately his career was cut short by serious injury.
  16. Tungate is an excellent signing for Belle Vue, shame as I was hoping he'd be an excellent signing for the Robins,,
  17. It does seem the obvious move - hopefully
  18. Have just this thread and have to agree with you re the highlighted above. I know Kyle has been struggling a bit and I know MF can be ruthless, but if I were a Poole fan I wouldn't be happy with this change. Kyle has been a loyal and match winning performer for the Pirates on a number of occasions..
  19. How lucky were the Pirates tonight.. Freddie would have easily secured 7 or 8 more points than Josh and despite what SS lampoons Wolves would have won by a country mile Well done Brady Kurtz though !
  20. I still miss those cheese and onion rolls from the back straight ! Bob Radford, Sweet Home Alabama, Brian Leonard's white leathers, kids race jackets, Don't Fear The Reaper, back straight bogs, getting hit by shale on bends 1 and 2, parking in the overspill car parks, beers in the Ghost Train after meetings...
  21. We all know the young Poles are doing extremely well and good luck to them However you yourself appear to be a bit on the slow side and obviously have a complete 'lack of class' Nevermind...
  22. I didn't realise that Emil was such a 'nutter' until I saw the last lap or so of his semi-final.. Unlucky Jason tonight ! The Poles own World Speedway at the moment..
