So the shorter answer to drop a cogs question would be i have not got a clue.

Anyone who puts 7 years(and still counting) of their lives into a project like this and with all the set backs still have the balls to keep going instead of just letting speedway die in manchester deserves praise and backing not the constant crap they get on this forum.Whatever the outcome they will have my thanks and support.

I dont think that we will ever totaly change over.I work as a catering butcher most items are sold in kg;s but we sell steaks (sirloin/rump} at an each price and they are sold and asked for at 8oz 12 oz etc even though the weight ticket on each one is in grams.

Try opening your eyes Makes the gap bigger than i thought then.

S Stead M Zagar A Roynan C Cook L Lanham S Nicholls T Poole R Worrell S Nielsen M P Toft A Compton S Nielsen J Bates B Reade Is there any difference any more.Do you honestly think that Sheffield would have any chance of winning home or away please give a honest answer the gulf is not what it once was but there is i m o still a large gap.Dont get me wrong i am not an Elite league snob as i visit Sheffild quite a few times every season and enjoy the racing but i would think most fans would agree please let me know. Sorry to butt in on the panthers thread but was just answering a question. To bring in the Panther fans your now no 3 A Dryml was Belle vues reserve for a few seasons and he was bobbins so do you think there is much difference between the two leagues with the elite league still fresh in your memory.Good look for the future was realy pleased the your club was saved and as i say i enjoy prem league racing i am sure you all will with what looks like a very competative prem team.

Hi National league fans sorry to but in on your thread.I am a Belle vue fan and was hopeing that I could pick your brains re Nielsen and Reade if anyone would be so kind as to give an opinion as to how you think as a pair they will fair against the other Elite league picks I was a big fan of the Colts in their 1 season in the Nat league but Nielsen was just starting out then and I cant remember seeing Reade so not sure he was riding then. Thanks in advance for your time and help.

The Elite league will need more riders with the top boys being missing next year.So last year doubleing up did not really work(riders missing to many meetings to ride for their prem team) and with a lot more meetings being propose for next year doubleing up I m o just wont work.I have a feeling that they may stop it.If that's the case they may offer the top liners in the prem league a little more money than they can earn in said league to move up full time into the elite league(a lot cheaper than what they are paying the top boys and they somehow need to make the elite league attractive to the punters after loseing the top boys) and the better boys in the national league would then move up to the prem league. This could be the reason why there is a lot more intrest this year in moving up a league to me its the only way that they can then call the elite league the top league in Britain.Just my thoughts but sounds to me like a way they could go.

Some people say that the Elite league will be rubbish if the top riders don't ride here next season but a perfect example for me is Hancock a great rider and also very exspensive..But on the whole he is a gater and the best and most exciting part of a race with him in it is the likes of Harris,Kildermand.Doyle.Barker andNicholls etc trying to chase him down. The point of this post is that Hancock wont be here next year but the best part of a race with him in it should still be here the other riders mentioned.Yes Ward and Holder etc are great racers but unless they have lots of top riders to race against the are just to good for the Elite league as it is now.

I have seen this boy ride a few times at belle vue and saw him ride at the B V press and practise day.I m o he looks very fast and in total control of his bike and very ready for Prem league raceing.Whoever picks him up wont be dissapointed. I just hope that Belle vue get him signed on our books and loan him out before anyone beats us to it. -
The one off finals were the best because it was a few qual rounds and a final. The gp today has to many rounds which in turn has help to destroy British speedway with the top riders to busy to fit the elite league into there to hectic schedules.Rather see one or two of them live at my home track every week than 12 times a year on t.v.

Hi Steve whats Gino Manzares doing this year from what i saw of him at Belle vue last year i exspected him to be snapped up by a prem league side this year. The boy looks to have a lot of talent.

Jason is not the best out of the gate(if he can work on and improve his gateing the world is his oyster)once out of the gate he is very fast and has the skill to pass any rider in this league inside or outside. He never knows when he is beat this can lead to a breath taking pass or a fall.Hes the type of rider that everyone in the stadium cant wait to see his next ride. In the meeting against Scun/Shef not once did he gate 1st yet he got a 15 point max,he passed as many riders in the one meeting as i have seen Chris Harris pass in 5 elite meetings. The boy is a joy to watch.

Chris Morton has shown a lot of interest in this young lad, if he spends time with him it should iron out a few of the rougth edges and make him a much improved rider.
