There’s a few riders that can still knock in decent points in their late 30’s early 40’s, Andersen isn’t one of them. Despite people making excuses for injuries, truth be told he’s been on the slide for a number of years now. He’s aged badly compared to others. -

Away from the Showground? That showing at Swindon was nigh on embarrassing. He has commitments in all the major leagues as well as GP’s, he’s definitely NOT a rider you can rely on in the UK. -
	Fantastic photo

Opinions and ars*holes and all that. If you were impressed with Iversen, good for you.
 -
Never understood the plaudits for Sheffield’s team in all honesty. Currently, they don’t make the top 4 for me.
 -
TBF King broke the Peterborough track record. Means very little in the scheme of things. Iversen has his supporters, but I was one of those disappointed with him.
 -
7.93 SB. Other than Iversen, I honestly don’t see anyone else up to that figure and above Klindt’s that could possibly be signed. The chap with only a handful of intriguing postings to his name is convinced Holder has signed so going with him still.

Covatti confirmed as Witch #6. 7.93 left for the final Witch..

Andersen confirmed. -

	Better showing today.

No idea. It goes back to theory it’s better to have a 3 pointer who you think is capable of putting a point and a half on, than going for a 4 pointer who you think would hold that 4 point average at best. It’s not like us to build a point of just below a point below the limit though. Maybe we haven’t!
 -
If Covatti is the other reserve, that leaves 7.93 for a heatleader. Holder 7.16, would we give up nearly a point? If it’s Holder and Covatti, wouldn’t we have maybe gone for a stronger reserve than Danny Ayres with nearly a point more available? If it’s not Holder, I can’t think of anyone else who seems readily available, close to the 7.93 we’d have left

Dennis Sigalos was also tall and lanky -
Chris Holder would be a cracking signing on his average IMO.
 -
Foreverblue is a Poole supporter Dan. People need to realise that with the other 6 signed (or heavily rumoured to have signed), we had around 3 and a halfish points left for a number 7. We’ve done very well with Danny Ayres IMO.
 -
	Thank you.
 -
I personally prefer not to directly converse with this individual. He/She strikes me as someone who isn’t particularly well. Mental illness is no laughing matter.
 -
Anyone know what Chris Holder’s form was like abroad last year?
 -
A reserve pairing of Ayres and Covatti looks a promising one and a very entertaining one as well. If Nico moves up in to the team then he’ll be replaced by someone equally as strong if not stronger. All good.
 -
You’d think now that Christmas and New Years is out the way we should get confirmation of the final 3. Maybe next week?

It’s been well documented what has happened at Ipswich. The original intentions were that Chapman was to purchase the club from Chris Louis, albeit with certain clauses attached. For reasons only known to those involved, that purchase never materialised. Whether that was down to Chapmans end or Chris Louis having second thoughts, or something else entirely we’ll probably never know. What we do know, because Chris Louis has said so himself, is that Keith Chapman isn’t, and never has been the owner of Ipswich Witches despite the initial intentions. Anyway, this is the Panthers thread.. -

Hartel is a Witches “asset”. -
If it’s the 3 rumoured then we’re going with Ayres and one strong reserve. Covatti or Nicholls? Rumour is they’ve gone with the former and that’s the right decision IMO.
 -
Eh? Not sure if you’re suggesting it’ll never happen, or you think it’d be a poor signing?
