Whether you agree with people’s opinions or not I’m just pleased he seems to be alive and well. When a prolific poster suddenly stops posting you do have to wonder sometimes.

Think the point is 7.16 isn’t a figure you’d call expensive for a rider of his calibre. Whether you think he’d increase it or not is up for debate and I personally think he’d push that up towards the 8 mark, but you certainly wouldn’t call him a poor signing on such a figure.

What happened to “TNT” on here? Was a prolific poster but haven’t seen him on here for a while..

Don’t think anyone would argue that he’s not the rider he was at his peak, but you’d still take him on that figure surely. I would.

What was Holder’s last average?

Probably, although a few seem to think we’ve signed Danny Ayres which muddies the water. If Klindt is at 1 then we’ve packed the reserves and Ayres doesn’t feature. I still like that proposed line up you put up tbh with Nicholls and Covatti at reserve.

Another 2 signings announced next week. Probably King and Klindt. Then I guess that’s your lot until after Christmas. Got a feeling this #1 search will go on well in to the new year.

The Ayres “signing” is a strange one if that’s the case Baldyman. That tells me they already have, or are confident of getting the number 1 they want. My guess is Ayres is pencilled in rather than a guaranteed starter, depending on whether that top rider can be found. Hopefully someone who went to the AGM tonight will ask that question and let us know.

I’d take that all day long tbh. That reserve pairing would do serious damage, particularly at Foxhall. Won’t happen as Nicholls won’t be anywhere near Ipswich, but it’s a good side.
