Probably being set up for the new season I would think.
-
Very Very wet, with a lot of water on the inside bends. The track will have to be complete drained before it is cut on the 28th. It is very difficult to walk on as the top surface is all slop. Least i've got something decent to look at. Don't tell lies either.

Some just spout and never learn.

Can't think of a direct one CB, other than he is good friend of the promotion.

Thanks. I thought Michael M was in a caravan.
-
It was snowing at one point.

Was it not in the nearby caravan park they were housed, screm.

All part of the jobs to keep everyone happy RD. Was really cold today, but noway near the 'feel like -2C' forecast. Great turnout and got all the kick boards on and plans made for the next couple of weeks. Thanks to those who turned up today, which made the shift shorter than normal. Be back on later in the week with what we are doing in the next few weeks.

And well worth it is to watch as well. Some good stories with a live link to Darcy from the USA California. Enjoyed it.

How naive you are most of the time. -
And Peterborough weren't the only team thought to have signed him.

Yet there are cr*tins on here like Game On and Heathen Chemistry, who would have you believe there was no accident and it was all a try on by Matt Ford to get Kennet to replace Dak in the Playoffs. -
Track work on the track at Brought on Sunday starts at 9.00am till about 2.00pm, depending on how cold it is. We will be fixing kick boards and preparing sheeting, plus a few miscellaneous jobs. If you can spare some time, why not pop along and give us a hand. Warm old clothes are a must on Sunday, as it is forecast to be a tad caad. See you there

Poland, When The Bubble Bursts....?
Tsunami replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Isn't Emil still owed about 200,00 € or £'s from his Polish team of about 3 years ago. Yet that team was still allowed in and raced the following year, i believe. -
Track Work at Brough Well, after a slow start, the group came together today and completed all the tasks that I though we could get though, plus other tasks like fence repairs and posts in the pits area, which had suffered wind damage recently. All boards painted and reaffixed on the corners, blue mesh up on the back straight and gates painted and ready for putting back on the track. Well ahead now and we will have to bring forward some of the jobs that were planned for doing nearer the season start. It you are interested in coming along and joining us next Sunday, just let me know, and don't forget to wear old warm clothing. Nice touch with Danny P turning up to work with us, and helped to refix some kick boards on the 3rd/4th bends. Many Thanks. Dave R

Would have thought that the race suit will be redesigned as usual. It also gives last years riders a chance of fitting in and dropping sponsors.

Foreign Based Team Gb Training At Last
Tsunami replied to Bagpuss's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
..and also Lee Richardson. That's the thing about proper comprehensive training such as youngsters are receiving through the Poultec initiative. Riding a bike is only part of it, Maintence, personal health, technical issues, etc, are all so important, and many top riders in the past knew very little about some of these items. -
Foreign Based Team Gb Training At Last

Yes, All of the main Danes that rode for us all had combined mobile phones with computers built into the back. The likes of Bjarne and KB could tell you what gear and ignition settings that had used at previous meetings, along with the track conditions. Even if the track was slightly different, at least they started from a reasonable setup unlike a first timer trying to guess it. -
We will be down at Brough tomorrow morning to continue with the track work for the new season. If you can spare some time, why not pop over and help us either paint some kickboards, or fix them to the corner fence. We start at 9.00 and work till about 2.00, weather permitting. Come along in warm old clothing, and we have food and warm drinks available for the whole period. See ya there.

Which shows you don't read the General Discussions section. screm regularly posts on it.

Confirmed on Monday by George that the Kus transfer is going to arbitration, so we will know more after 1st March.

Hypothetical question actually, because they ALL WON'T. Some will increase their average and some will stick with their assessed average. It will then be time to bring in some of the better new riders and move on with them. Surely as a 'believer in youth development' that is what you would expect as well.
-
So you brag about bringing up two youngsters last year(well done), but decry the BSPA insisting everyone else do the same, but only one rider, to bring on British youths to ease the rider shortages situation. Can't have it all ways can you, you are either for or against youth development, not just when the Monarchs do it.

Rearrange that and it spells out a Bulgarian dish.
