As we have been having accidents/deaths/injuries since the sport started, can you show me the independent evidence that the materials used/construction was safe. Please provide the clear empirical evidence of their efficiency. Please include Exeter in your data. Please quote actual deaths directly apportioned to the use of the previous fences. BTW i'm in all night. Oxford Dicca empirical - relying on observation or experiment, not on theory gustix put your bit on the subject, seeing you have such an interest in following this subject.

Irony Gavan. You and Poole, spot the similarity.

Yours is the stupid argument based on your unsupported position. In one breath someone uses the term "better fence", when referring to the Wolves mesh fence, but you don't ask for validation to THAT suggestion/opinion. Mention an air fence, and you become all official and wanting to see all the independent validation results data. One rule for your opinion, but not the same validation for others. End of

Yes, it was very wet and televised as well. Bunyan came into the first bend with too much speed and collected Sam and both went straight on. Trapped under the fence for awhile I think. Only 120 people attending will close IOW, not the air fence. "Possibly isn't required", starting to lose the argument now are we ?.

Didn't he start racing at about 62 or something, and ride in your early CL team. If so, at least Nick has got a couple of years on his side.
-
There won't. In Wolves case, I remember a bad smash at Wolves with I think Bunyan going into Sam too fast, and one got really hurt by hitting the rail behind the post. Air fences are safe, despite what Elephantman might suggest.

I thought I might get that one wrong Drew. Blast from the past.

I think Ray Dickson is still ahead of you Nick. Edit, thanks drew2.

RH is in the same position that Wolves were in when it was compulsory for EL teams. Better fence but had to change.

Bishop making a comeback then.

I remember when Dave Pavitt asked for the IOW to be omitted from the PT early comp, as it started in April and he wanted to start with the PL competition when he had a crowd in. Told it was everything or nothing.

There was also the case of Joe Screen from Wolverhampton to Glasgow as well. Different team from Berwick this year, but I think they will do well and give a really stable year of good racing. Hope they get the support for the new look team.

To be fair these tours are not officially sanctioned in the same way as the previous official representative teams. I believe it is a private venture which Marcus took onboard and who, with friends, has made such a great success. Of late, the BSPA has started to part sponsor it, so there is an input and a very welcome input. All power to Marcus and Co and lets hope for another successful tour next year. -
Congratulations To Jurica Pavlic

Unfortunately populated with some with an anti speedway agenda. Give it up. -

Why am I not surprised at this from such a dedicated fan. -
That might have been an indicator of his average, but having never ridden this year for the Rebels, and having ridden the Danish leagues since then in 2013 , it could be he has rubbished his chances by doing so. Garry may have got a 3 initially, but the change in circumstances now makes things different and probably the 7 is right now.

That sounds so very rude.

We tried to introduce him when I think it was Stuey got injured. George managed to get a small reduction but not enough to fit him in. Apparently wanted to be our No 1 this year. but I think he told all his clubs that.

Yep.

I think this has correctly been in force for sometime. I think it's to stop a 'pointed' first post from someone who may have a grudge and it needs vetting in case it is. There have been some interesting first posts from existing forum members using another name, so it is right that the moderation should cover that situation. Some naughty posters have had to be cleared post by post for being 'naughty'.

NEWCASTLE SPEEDWAY Xmas party, PTE club on Saturday 21st Dec, 2013. Usually starts about 7.30pm and price last year was £8 a head. To get the food quantities right, can you advise Joan E with your ticket requirements. A disco and a bit of chat with your fellow supporters, what a way to start your Xmas weekend. If you want you, you can let me know and I can pass them on for you. Tickets are usually short on supply for the party that is usually a sell out. Kids welcome of course, and fancy dress if that floats ya boat. See ya there.

Easy, it's rolling averages so some of his early decent scores will be getting replaced by similar but higher scores, but any variance up or down, will be slanted over 24 meetings(I think it is now). Anton's will improve after his learning process last year and, if he continues in the way he finished the season, his scores will be greater that last years average and then take over the number 1 position.

Says the boring man who craves for 'genuine debate'. Walk on.
-
Let's hope you keep your word on it, you're getting boring. Name one track that is going to be closed because of the purchase of an air fence. IOW and Peterborough are not. On a 120 gate IOW could not survive even without buying the fence.

Agree on both counts screm. Carr is just starting to look good and getting deserved points. To not include him, and let someone else have him, does not and would not seem right to most folks. Kus is the new enigma. The events in Argie when his friend was killed, seems to be still with him, and only time will erase that from his memory. He is the original 0303 points scorer, a brilliant gater but does not try if behind. Pity he does not perform like he does when he is at the Redcar training days that I attend. He is flat-out and throwing the bike in the first bend from just after the start gate. He is s different rider, and it is a great shame he isn't repeating that type of riding during meetings. The shape of Berwick is not dissimilar to Prague, where he flew round as a wildcard in a Prague GP, so with a bit more confidence he could come good and surprise everyone. It's in there, but how you get it out is a mystery. It was obvious he was leaving Redcar, as in their last PO meeting against us, he walked dejected around the track, shaking hands and taking with everyone, and even throwing some racing gear into the crowd as if he was saying his goodbyes. I said it on the night. All the best Matej.
