  1. Not just the fans, the riders need to go there on friday believing they can get a decent result as often they are beaten before a race is started. Wethers at reserve could have a big influence in how close a result we get although to be fair Alex had a decent meeting last time he was there albeit as a guest. Im hoping for a decent performance at the Dale then turn them over at Berwick on Saturday
  2. think blixt still involved in speedway, does he not manufacture carbs
  3. 1991..Berwick..M 24..R 125..PTS 301..BP 9..AVE 9.92.MAX .5F..2P def a hero at berwick almost a 10 point average
  4. can see Berwick winning tonight but would have to be by a big margin to stand any chance in the 2nd leg.
  5. Berwick are also at Glasgow on Monday night ,in a meaningless League Cup Fixture
  6. must be a reason, why june 14th is a blank saturday ?
  7. what a great result 8pts from 2 away meetings Steen Jensen has to be one of the signings of the season.
  8. yeah i have been and we won with a lot of so called big track riders Complin, Alden, Franc, Smith, Lindgren, Mudgway, Davey.the Berwick team now have riders with a lot of smaller track experience behind them. hence my confidence in an away win tonight.
  9. Confident of another Bandits away victory 47-43.
  10. No meeting at Berwick this Saturday or the 14th June, if or when we get past Sheffield in the cup we are then having to fit in 3 home meetings Worky, Scunny, and a cup match with the Monarchs. Going to be a long season.
  11. going by Berwicks fixtures they are at Edinburgh on Friday June 6th in PL KOC match if they see off Sheffield
  12. can remember going on a southern tour in 1987 with Berwick, all the riders and fans were in the same hotel all took some cans to Rob Woffindens room to discover his bike in the middle of the room.
  13. spoke to Razor in Black n Gold, only because it was a cup match that he made the switch replacing Liam with Steen which turned out to be a good decision.
  14. cheers Paulco for that i knew he had a high average for Plymouth before he got injured, was not sure if riding for Wolves would affect it, So Mr Stead will now be getting 6 rides tonight, gave an absolute master class last season on how to ride Shielfield could be a close meeting now,
  15. so we know Kus, Wethers, & reserves can take Davids rides tonight, who are all eligible to take Proctors rides for the opposition.
  16. sarah think we will win this one 52-38 think steen who is getting better each week will have a big say in the result as he will get at least 6 rides tonight.
  17. think Gjedde picked up a nasty back injury which caused him to retire from the sport.
  18. cant believe how lack lustre Newcastle were tonight although to be fair the Bandits for a change were jumping out of the starts. No doubt when sky planned there agenda for live meetings they probably thought Newcastle would have a strong team can see tuesdays live meeting being a cricket score. As for the Bandits a lot more solid from 1-6 hopefully we will put on a better performance at Brough than last seasons farce.
  19. another cost cutting improvement for riders would be for someone to ,manufacture a tyre that could last about 6 meetings, i can remember in days gone by when riders would cut there tyres with a hacksaw to get more meetings out of them.
  20. Can see this being another close meeting but can see Berwick just edging it 48-42
  21. must be an ongoing thing as the music at Berwick is horrendous as well
  22. expect workington to give us a sterner test than the tigers did last week, result could hinge on the performance of both sets of reserves can see berwick shading it 48-42.
