  1. Jon Armo is guesting for Lynn, I believe, he's worth watching especially if he hasn't got his gating on
  2. Don't lose heart yet !!! I have a hunch things are looking a bit rosier than the current situation implies.
  3. We will have the AGM soon. Where else could you buy anticipation like that ????
  4. My apologies I think I quoted the wrong post I'll get my coat !! I do try not to get involved in discussion on here as a lot is lost in the written word. But for what it's worth I do think in terms of development JPB would have been better going to Buxton as he would be their no. 1 by now and there is a lot to be said for that. Instead he is at Res unable to overtake the main 1-5 in the averages. The usual trend is to go at red for 4 meetings then shoot to no.1. Riders should take responsibility as well and not let their heads get turned by points money especially at this level.
  5. This argument gets an airing every 'Play Off season' . What is wrong with a will to win? Be it MDL NL PL or EL. Matt Ford gets it because he wants to win and all the EL rules are made to stop him. Drury is getting the same reputation. That is what is wrong with this country we don't admire and try to emulate the smart kid in the class we bully them because we aren't smart. I went to my kids sports days many years ago where I stood and watched them do some kind of it's a knock out because we can't allow kids to shine just in case those that don't may become insecure. No ! I wanted to watch my kids in the 100 Mtrs sprint and win or lose watch them try. Sorry end of rant
  6. Let's hope not. Hope it's a success. This league is such maligned and it's a brilliant league. Ok it doesn't have 'names'. Maybe they should allow some and then it would be given the merit it quite rightly deserves.
  7. Well that puts that rumour to bed !!! http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31236
  8. I do hope the powers that be hear you re dropping to PL. Going EL was possibly the biggest mistake Leicester have made but they weren't to know that at the time. Good to hear you were happy to lose at BV so the day wasn't a total waste of time for you. Good Luck for the rest of the season,
  9. I'd be tempted to go M62 M1 although the M1 does have one of those 'go slow' sections
  10. Lol !! Where as the 'shower of' I witnessed on Wed was too draw
  11. They were always in with a chance I think what kept them out originally was possibly the 4th man's average was marginally lower
  12. If you have access to the Internet You can find fixtures here http://www.wightwarriors.co/fixtures And travel info is here http://www.wightwarriors.co/travel
  13. A lot of the riders are generally on the 23.00 Ferry from Fishbourne and tend to go up to the Bar after the meeting. It does round the evening off nicely
  14. I think you mean Yarmouth to Lymington. You could do Lymington to Yarmouth and then Fishborne to Portsmouth as an option. If you book that routing and the meting is on time you can head off to Yarmouth where they will normally let you on using the Portsmouth ticket. I haven't heard of anyone being refused boarding doing it this way. Hope that this has helped a little.
  15. Their best hopes now is the pairs.....humph !!
  16. He does but it's academic. As I said before he was always facility today with Kent as he was due to ride for Glasgow.
  17. There was always going to be a facility, be that RR or guest, for Danny as he was due to ride at Glasgow. Nothing to do with his injury
  18. I think Andy Mountain guested for KL when Connor rode for them
  19. Good Luck to the Lions. Stars v Lions Match Preview Leicester travel to Kings Lynn on Thursday without Ludvig Lindgren who has a prior engagement in Sweden for Valsarna when they ride at home to Griparna. The Lions will employ a guest replacement at number 6 for the match in Norfolk against the Stars who collected their first away win of the season last night following their 47-46 success at Coventry. Kings Lynn are also missing the injured Simon Lambert and bring in one of their former riders, Lewis Kerr as a replacement. Teams Leicester: 1. Patrick Hougaard, 2. Aaron Summers, 3. Nicolai Klindt, 4. Paul Starke, 5. Szymon Wozniak, Guest for Ludvig Lindgren tbc and 7. Josh Auty Kings Lynn: 1. Niels-Kristian Iversen, 2. Lewis Kerr, 3. Rory Schlein, 4. Troy Batchelor, 5. Robert Lambert, 6. Nicolaj Busk-Jakobsen and 7. Lewis Rose
  20. Isn't removing points punishing the supporters and the riders ?? Who played no part in the incident Probably reward Cradley with the 4 points is a better option.
  21. Well they may have gone Fri night but I seem to remember your lot protesting because they share a fan base but when they track share someone will have to move leagues as 1 league 1 night 1 track 2 teams don't equate
  22. I think PL and EL are the same for missing rider
