@Mike_Bacon: In @ipswichstar24 paper today BIG backing for Hilton from Louis @ipswichspeedway @speedwaystarmag plus Louis on his riders
Quite right too.
Confirmed in the Ipswich Star today that Heeps is due to make his return next Thursday along with Morris making his debut against his former club.
Now we're back to a seven man team hopefully now things can settle down and we can make a charge for those play offs.
Changing the subject, did I read on here somewhere that Heeps was making his comeback next week or did I dream that?
That would be a boost getting him back in the side and back to a seven man team again.
Well having just heard both sides on radio Suffolk, Phil Hilton came out of that exchange in a far better light, in my opinion.
Regarding Hawkins, good riddance and a shame he didn't bugger off earlier!! Good team man my arse.

That tweet would suggest more than just Hawkins out I'd say? Looks like the replacement is in already?
Didn't go and haven't been for weeks. Won't return until the promotion show as much passion as us fans. We've gone from a top flight club with a proud history, to a top flight club who are also rans, to a top flight club who struggles, and now to a second tier club who struggles in that league too.
Sad times.
I'm getting a bit cheesed off with the Witches at the moment and have lost interest. This 6 man team and R/R nonsense hasn't helped.
Why haven't we brought in a temporary replacement for Heeps if he was to be out this long? I know rider availability can be an issue but the R/R points haven't been all that good so the replacement wouldn't have to be a world beater to do better.
R/R isn't quite so bad (although still annoying) if the other 6 are on form but they're not so R/R becomes even more of a pain in the arse.
Apart from one meeting away, Hawkins has been absolutely woeful all season.
Yes others haven't pulled up trees either, but let's call a spade a spade here Hawkins has been crap and the worst of the lot. He's lucky to still be in the side IMO.
Use it as an opportunity to tinker and make a couple of changes?
Not easy and who knows if the riders of sufficient quality are available, but try and turn a negative in to a positive.
Maybe make a couple of changes that could strengthen you lower down and provide a strong partner for S Lambert.
