We would definitely, but if Berwick had Vissing we could have struggled for the win who knows. Good much needed three away points though keeps us on course. Excellent from Tungate and King. That's one of the benefits of having a top line rider at 1, always felt confident in that last heat that we would get the points needed. Heeps has so much talent and should be far better than he is currently. Unfortunately the wrist injuries have definitely hampered his progress. Hopefully he stays fit from now until the end of the season and improves. -

I agree we usually start very slowly and then get in to our stride mid meeting before hitting top gear in the latter stages. Can't afford to keep doing that especially against the better sides like Edinburgh who will also be strong in the closing heats. -

Manzares suffering from Flu nearly pulled out. Kennett and the Dane looked good for Rockets, particularly Kennett who beat King at Foxhall earlier in the season too. -

Does Gino definitely have to average over 7 to return next year? No top 4 state thingy that could also qualify him? -

You said the same when Berwick came down in the cup.. Indeed, we said the same when Sheffield and Newcastle came to Foxhall. We've been unexpectedly poo more than once at home this year so any result seems to go for this years Witches! -
I agree and TBH I don't understand some of the comments on this thread. People have a whinge when the rules aren't stuck to, and when they are stuck to some are still whinging! This "special dispensation" lark is a nonsense as far as I'm concerned and opens up a whole can of worms. Where do you draw the line? You make the rules, the rules should then be adhered to. If some think that it's very harsh on Peterborough, tough!

Riding order has been changed. Heeps returns to the team at number 2, Tungate moves to 4 and Covatti at 5.

I disagree the 1-7 we have does look good enough for top 6, and should be good enough for top 6.

Crikey that's no age at all is it. I, like many others on here never met her in person but she was one of the original posters on here I remember fondly when I first signed up. Very sad to hear. R.I.P. -
Its the Palmer trophy at Mildenhall on Sunday, so you'd think he'd probably get some laps under his belt there after the meeting?

Tungate came as an assessed 5 pointer, same as so many others. I do find it kind of harsh that the lad has been one of the very very few that have progressed in to a heatleader, and yet still come under so much stick from his own supporters. Heeps as an example, gets a completely free ride and yet he hasn't progressed anywhere near Tungates level in the same space of time. But is was Hawkins "washing his dirty laundry" in public in which Hilton was asked to respond. Obviously everyone is different and maybe you would have been one who refused to comment? But if I was in Hilton's shoes and was asked my response to Hawkins' interview, I honestly don't think I would have been quite as reserved as Phil Hilton was. Anyway all water under the bridge now? Hopefully everyone can move on and a big joint effort from riders, management and supporters can see us in to those play offs.
